Cousins is the best big man in the league right now and just 25. He is worth the risk IMO. Didnt feel that way until he showed he could keep his emotions in check when he played for Team USA, Coach K raved about him.

Kings are close to making the playoffs in spite of his major dust up with Karl. Cousins is maturing, they are winning with him. I would be thrilled to have a front line of KP and Cousins. Could be the best in the league in short order.
Dont want to trade Lopez in his prime and give up what he does in the paint for a soon to be 30 year old Horford, feels more like an Isiah move.

Agreed. There was a 538 article on him recently. He puts up a lot of points because he's a usage monster. The ball has to always be in his hands. He has a higher usage rate than Wilt Chamberlain had the year he averaged over 50 points a game! Averaging 27 points on 44% shooting (.538 TS%) and 4 turnovers a game doesn't really impress me.

I will take your word for it. On a side note there always seems to be some new stat that makes all the other stats look outdated. Curious about what they will be saying about the current "advance stats" in a few years.

Unless we get no brainer deals. We need to stay away from the one player away mentality. GS is where they are at through accumulation. We need to invest in mutliple players who's value will improve within the tri getting them at cheaper prices. Keeping flexibility for upgrades so we can have talent and depth as the cap keeps rising.

My belief that he's not worth the salary? It depends on how tight the team's finances are. For us, the contract is OK. If I were an owner concerned about every penny of profit, I doubt I'd sign him though.
