Knicks · Were are starting to look like the same team from last season (page 1)

knicks1248 @ 2/7/2016 3:33 PM
Playing competitive basketball for 2 quarters, and were are suppose to me a much more talented team, we are yet to win a game without MELO, and even last years bunch won 11 games without him, which makes us worse than last seasons roster.

Have we heard anybody on the face of this earth state that the knicks are well coached..lol

JVG used to say, its on me because i didn't prepare the team properly, we hardly ever look prepared

gunsnewing @ 2/7/2016 3:37 PM
I'd venture to say Fisher's days are numbered at this point. He's just not getting through to this team. Albeit the roster Phil put together isn't all that great but they keep doing the same things over and over. Can't finish, fall behind and have to play catch up, terrible playcalling or lack there of
wargames @ 2/7/2016 3:39 PM
I don't understand why Sasha gets any playing time when the games are close? The fact Fisher can't stop himself from doing that says everything that needs to be said.
knicks1248 @ 2/7/2016 3:39 PM
how can phil fire woodson, and not fire fisher is beyond me

Has fisher ever said such a thing?????

gunsnewing @ 2/7/2016 3:41 PM
Even Hahn & Wally criticizing the continued refusal to call a timeout and set up a play

Phil is on a mission to revive the triangle.....he WANTS someone to finally win with it other then himself. All the great coaches have a coaching tree but Phil

The issue with fisher is inexperience. He should have never jumped right into head coaching. You can tell he isnt ready for it

The coach claimed that the Knicks don't run plays

I wonder if Fisher would be allowed to completely scrap the Triangle and what would be the repercussions? Would he be on a shorter leash? IDK.

Sometimes it feels like Fisher is trying to juice this offense with the P&R but cant go beyond a certain point. I wish reporters would ask Fish if he could go to a more conventional offense if he wanted to, and has he considered it?

knicks1248 @ 2/7/2016 3:53 PM
Fisher is a the podium right now shifting the blame to the team for not being ready, not one time did he take responsibility for not having his team ready. He keeps referring "the team" as oppose to "HIS team"..what a fckng loser.

I hate people who don't man up when things fall on them, they have an excuse and blame others..that some BS.

I would have much more patience with him if he owned up to his flaws, but he constantly acts as if he has nothing to do with how the team responds

Has fisher ever coached before??? If ur answer is yes; than he should be allowed to change the system

First year, 10th year, a coach should be allowed to run any damned offense he or she pleases.

Not when you don't have the credentials to back you up

here's and example of really bad coaching

Right before the half, with 3.5 seconds left fisher had 6 2' gallaway on a full court press guarding 6 10 Gallo..Did you see the red carpet treatment galloway gave him for a uncontested half court shot. Thats a total lack of adjustment.

Agree..... Here is another: ur team is fighting an uphill battle, the only player on the roster who has been causing havoc in the paint and go to the foul line to stop the clock is WIllIams. After three minutes of play, dude took six foul shots. Instead of keeping him on the floor, he replaced him with Sasha who was not able to buy a basket
