Why? Successful teams are the ones who think ahead of the curve. All too often, the Knicks have thrown big money at HOF types only to find out that the game had passed them by (see Larry Brown and Lenny Wilkens). Walton is young and apart of a new generation that will set the tone for what championship types will look and play like. Give me that guy over any re-thread.

This is for me. NY loves defense. I love defense. Zinger could use Thibs. Keep Rambis to coach the offensive sets. If Triangle is running correctly, you don't really need offensive coaching. Even if you don't like Triple post in the modern era, you can not argue with a dynamic offense.
