Seriously, dudes. This is everything you need to know about who the next coach of the Knicks will be.

It's Walton.

Why, who is Wasserman media group?

He signed with a new agent on the day Fisher was fired and he's rumored to be a top candidate for the Knicks job this summer?

You don't think that's suspicious timing?

Also, former Phil Jackson player BJ Armstrong is one of the agents at the Wasserman group...

No, because he is not leaving GSW mid season.

Of course not. This is for the summer.

But if you don't think Wasserman is getting a call from Phil Jackson before the end of the season...

This is about where Walton goes this summer.

This is a strong signal the Knicks are a place he will strongly consider.

I think it's a bit of a leap. He is obviously considering cashing in on becoming a head coach, that's all I really see here

You're right I'm sure it's just a bit of coincidental timing!

Not quite. I just posted in another thread that there's rumors that the Lakers are also gonna go after Luke and that it will be a fight between the Lakers and Knicks to get him and if this is true i think he'll choose the Lakers. The Lakers have some really good young talent in Russell, Randle, Nance and Clarkson among others and a ton of cap space this off season and that's a place that big names will still love to play.

saw something about Jeanne getting ready to follow through on firing her brother and Kupchak. That sounds like a good stable situation

Yeah, Lakers will be the big competition. It is clear that both jobs will be open this summer. Walton will prob be the first choice for both teams.

I have heard behind the scenes that the Lakers ownership has a ton of strife right now between the Buss siblings. Knicks might actually be the more stable franchise at the moment.

Here's a good one :

Tommy Beer: Stephen A. Smith on SiriusXM: “I’m hearing Jim Buss is out. And Mitch Kupchak will likely follow. Jeanie is going to clean house… If (Jeanie Buss) does that, you know she’s gonna bring Phil back. And I think Dolan will let him out of his deal to go to LA.”

Something to talk about in February!

It's all speculation - but I would not be shocked to see this happen.

I think Phil came out here to stick it to Jimmy Buss in a lot of ways.

How convenient for SAS to conjure up this BS on the morning Fish is fired

I don't see any credible sauces confirming Jim Buss has been fired. That would be classic if he made this ish up

crzymdups @ 2/8/2016 7:08 PM
They wouldn't screw up Kobe's retirement season with this shakeup. All the Lakers ish will go down in the summer after Kobe retires.

Like I said last week, if Walton cant pick the system, I dont want him. If Walton has a choice and chooses the Triangle, Im good.

That's fair. Golden State runs a lot of Triangle stuff within their system, but also a lot of other stuff. It'd be good if he were allowed to work that in.

I don't think Phil would be able to argue that GSW doesn't move the ball enough.
