Calderon is the WORST defensive starting point guard in the entire NBA. He is probably in the bottom 2 or 3 overall. If there is no upgrade in this position by the deadline, this team is toast.

Well, if we base this on one game....Calderon's defense is better than Curry. Wall had 40 and 10 against GS.

I agree, Calderon is a solid backup PG. But I disagree if you think there's a lock down PG out there that will drop out of a tree and land on our laps. Beverly is probably a top 3 lock down PG, and Curry scored 19 on him in the first......35 overall.

When you score at the rate that Steph does and are the reigning MVP, then you don't have to play much defense. The problem is Jose offers you next to nothing to offset his brutal defense. And when Curry is engaged, he can defend; whereas, Jose--even if he's giving full effort---sadly cannot due to lack of athleticism and age.

Wizards lost to the Bucks in their final game before the break...

Wizards shot 6/32 from the 3 pt line.

Wizards shot 16/26 against the Knicks.

Frustrating

Sometimes you make shots you usually don't make, or miss shots you do.

Wizards are at 36/37% from the 3 as a team.

Not always about the D being played against you...they got 6 more looks against the Bucks...just shooting like shyte for some reason.

Agree to a point. But shooting is about rhythm and confidence and a big part of D is making the other player uncomfortable and doing something they'd prefer not to do

Wiz were not uncomfortable w their shots against us.
