This team is just fricking snake bit. They fought hard. God bless and good night.

exactly...AA never makes that pass

I truly thought that was gonna go in cause Gallo has always been pretty damn good with clutch 3's

Good point...really good point that i didn't even think of cause i was still in shock from the miss.

i'll go back to the NBA finals last year...with the Warriors down 2-1, Kerr sent Iggy to the bench and it paid huge dividends. We need a change in the roster...but not necessarily via trade...shuffling is also ok.
GustavBahler @ 2/9/2016 10:33 PM
There is a big change to last second shots, no more just dumping it off to Melo.

First game as head coach and Rambis has KP playing closer to the rim since the season started. This will have pay big dividends if KP does this consistently. I thought Rambis did a good job with substitutions for the most part, hope he gets them to set better screens, but Im pleased with what I see so far.

Some folks want him to start at PG over Jose.

That play illustrates why he isn't a starting PG, unfortunately.

Are you kidding me? He had nowhere to go? He was double teamed because Melo stayed in the backcourt after he fell; no player came to the ball.

That was a horrible pass to Melo that led to the turnover. I love Galloway. He's not a point guard.

we don't need him to be pg we just need him to get better at entry passes.

Man Phil MUST FIND US A GUARD!!! We just can't keep playing at such a disadvantage.

This

KP and Lopez in...Anthony intentionally misses...might have done this.

I thought it was our only hope. Was wrong. We actually still had time w foul game

Man that hurt. Knicks played a very good game. A little high on TOs but not crazy. Essentially lost because wiz were insane w their 3s

Needed a little more push from the legs and that's in.

Could not ask for a better shot, though.

He had to kind of rush with that little time left. Damn i thought that was going in.

It just isn't meant for this team to win as many games as they are capable of. They're really a 41/.500 caliber team that just can't seen to find a way to win games.

The positive in tonight is that we are not just seeing Porzingis get minutes, we're seeing Galloway. We need another young player to come up during these losses/re-build years. If it's Galloway, that's good. We're working on solidifying 2 positions in a re-build.

Thought the offense was really good tonight. Just a damn shame that we caught the Wizards on a night they were red hot from 3. It is what it is.

In terms of coaching, right away I saw some consistency on offensive schemes, and I saw much better tighter rotations.

I think I heard Derek Fisher needs work.

fair assessment. Wiz were red hot from there. But Knicks switched too much out there.

Though I really feel like the refs let Gortat get away with some serious moving screens. I saw him grab and hold Afflalo and Calderon multiple times on a "screen" at the top of the key.

SocraticBallin22 @ 2/9/2016 10:38 PM
Until we get a real point guard, and by real, I mean an NBA caliber starting point guard who could reasonably defend his position and be able to penetrate and score a little, we will continue to lose games like this OVER and OVER.

Calderon is the WORST defensive starting point guard in the entire NBA. He is probably in the bottom 2 or 3 overall. If there is no upgrade in this position by the deadline, this team is toast.

Sad thing is he would actually be an improvement. Really tho I can't take the inconsistency of Jose! He simply can't defend so he MUST SCORE or else it's 4 on 5 and we lose!!!

Calderon is obviously done but Galooway will never be the answer he's just completely unreliable. We need massive upgrades on both of them.

Galloway is not a lead guard...and never was in college, either.

I hate to get on Galloway here--he's a good dude and he's got guts--feel bad for him in the end there, but I can't agree with you guys more here. On that play where we came up with the steal from Beal--Galloway was clueless and choked. You guys said it all among the few of you--he's no PG. I hate how he looks to give the ball up all the time. A real PG is able to make a play there, not force a pass that wasn't there and cough it up. I agree--he's no answer. He's a decent off-the-ball role player. He's a clutch little shooter when open but he's definitely not a guy you want with the ball in his hands where he has to put it on the floor and go make a play. Big difference. Decent bench player but not a top 2 or 3 guard on a winning team.

There's nothing out there. Not that we can trade for.

We can't get Jennings or Teague with what we have to offer. We just can't.

Hope for Jennings or Conley this summer. That's our only hope.
