Phil pretty clearly exploring Melo trades.
Melo wants to stay.
That seems like an untenable situation.
I think Dolan would side with Melo.
I am starting to think that it is more likely Phil goes this summer than Melo.

Not sure. Also, it is Isola. The rumor makes sense though.

One reason Dolan hates Isola is that Isola has good sources within the Garden.
I think the fall out from this may be that Phil is forced keep Melo and to entertain Thibs as a coaching candidate.
Personally its highly logical that these scenarios are all part a long range plan that had alternatives of Melo getting his money and if things did not progress at certain levels then both would be amicable to a trade with melo having final say over his destination. That ensures Melo is not sent to team depleted and not contending.
great question! and i doubt it...phil is looking to trade melo yet melo wants to stay. lol

The question is who has more juice if they butt heads? I'd say it's Melo.
MELO! he has all the power with that no trade clause
I think there is a difference is exploring trades and receiving trade offers. Phil knows he can't trade Melo w/o his permission so why look into any ideas? It's more likely Lebron is trying to get Melo. CLeveland is in Win now mode and I doubt they wanted picks back for Love.
Although, If I was Cleveland I would do Kevin Love for Crowder/Lee and some picks.
