I see a lot of young dudes out there that I like, but this young gun brings a certain flair to the game that doesn't belong in Minnesota. I proposed to trade THJ for this dude a year ago, and some laughed at me when I proposed it. This cat is THE player Phil needs to have in the triangle for it to truly blossom and reach championship level. Knicks needs to get with his agent and force Minnesota to trade him to NY
Does he have an auto trade clause?

Well of course you got laughed at because Minnesota would of laughed at the Knicks if they offered them THJ for Z.Lavine.

At the time THJ was the better player

Wasn't Lavine a lottery pick like 2 years ago?? If so then why would they want to trade a lottery pick that they just drafted for THJ??
Wolves get Thibs and they will be scary.
I wonder what the OP was smoking tonight?
What has Lavine done so far besides win the dunk contest last year and the outstanding player in a friendly pickup game yesterday?
He's hardly risen to the occasion in Minny these days. Very inconsistent with a questionable BB IQ.
...But he has some nice dunks, though, which might mean something to some folks, though.

He has potentials as a two-guard

A tall Cuban my man😎
Lavine just put on a show to repeat as the DC winner, but Gordon gave him a run for his money
Gordon won in my book. He had 2 of the best dunks of all time. They played him on the last score.

I would have gave Gordon a 50 on the last Dunk too. I think it was hard to really see how difficult that dunk was live but the replay showed how awesome that Dunk was. The judges get to look at the replay before the score so they have zero excuse though.
Gordon might have just sealed Tobias future.

He is super athletic. He just needs a consistent jumper to become a special player
He's almost at the level of Gerald Green.

I think he is better than Green. I don't remember Green to be as inventive.
Too bad Lavine (and gordon) aren't good bball players

They have time to grow

THJ was NEVER the better player. There was NO way minny would ever trade Zach for THJ. You just don't know basketball if you think we ever had a chance to trade for Zach. Total BS

Gordon is pretty good young player who can play some versatile defense. I think his problem is Orlando is trying to develop his 3pt shooting. Other than that he looks pretty good.
I am not a huge fan of Lavine but to me he has started out like a lot of these young SGs have, inconsistent and inefficient. What I do like about him is that he has rebounded and passed fairly well for a young guy. I guess if you consider him a pg then the passing numbers do not look as great. laVine's problem is that he is a mid-range king. He needs to use his athleticism to get to the line like Derozen, Westbrook, or Wall. Defense and getting to the line should be he goals.
