KD can play any role he chooses. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Coach, GM
If KD wants to come to the Knicks (which is a pipe dream), you give him the open door policy!
I'll believe it when I see it. For what it's worth some folks are talking about KD taking a one year deal and KD and Russ both coming to NY in 2017. $109M cap and Knicks will have about $50-60M in space and only Rolo, Melo, Grant, KP under contract.
Who the frick knows - that's pretty far away.
One thing - KD and Russ genuinely seem to love playing together. They were having a ball in the all-star game yesterday.
NY post suggesting Jackson has interested in Pau Gasol at years end. He's making $8Mm and would be perfect KP mentor and Lopez would be extendible at $13mm. Seraphin gone, OQuinn on the bubble, Calderon probably gone and I would think that between Thomas/Afflalo and Williams, one of them won't be around. So MAYBE Melo/Pau/KP and lots of loot in 2017
Melo being Melo they don't want to play with you. This guy really thinks he has pull.
Why any player will want to play with Melo?
What is good about it.
How Melo will make it better for KD?
Playing for Knicks after Melo is gone is another story.

Ive learned not to take these reports too seriously. In 2010 it was suppose to be lebron, in 2012 it was chris paul, and even this past summer greg monroe was supposedly a lock to be here. I just dont see either kd or westbrook coming here

Agree about these rumors and really glad the team isn't moving out lottery players and future draft picks for cap space to be a part of the chase. However, I have to think Phil would offer the max to Durant and not try to split his money up like he did with Monroe.
I'd like to see Russell Westbrook in a Knick uniform. He would make more sense than KD.
