I would love to get P.Beverley. He isn't great on offense but he can hit the 3 ball every now and again but his defense is top notch.

Wow.
2 second rounders for Randy Foye? Holy shit

Same here.
With the way these trades are going the Knicks would have to trade 3 unprotected future first round picks plus Derrick, Grant and the right to move the Knicks to Albany

It's a seller's market, apparently...
huh. Phil tried to get Kevin Martin.

He's a position of need. He would be great in the rotation

Rejected chasing trash- how embarrassing! I don't see any worthwhile deal getting done

Martin's contract is almost identical to Jose's. I wonder if we tried to push anything other than a 1 for 1 trade (maybe cash considerations) given the rumors Martin could be waived.

Wow. He is a guy that is rumored to be waived if he isn't moved.
I really hope that the Knicks stand pat rather than making desperate trades and give up assets for 2nd tier talent. If we need a PG, we should force feed minutes to Grant for the remainder of the season to groom him into our PG of the future, and if that means we don't make the playoffs this year, then tough freakin luck.

If the Knicks made a similar trade where we sent maybe galloway, Lou Amundson and 2 second rounders.... I think every last one of us would become Net fans.

If i heard correctly then the big difference is that Martin has an opt out after this year so that would be big if we can get rid of Calderon for Martin and Martin opted out after this year.

That would be huge, actually.
Maybe Minnesota was considering it if they traded Rubio. They'd need a PG to run the ship with Rubio out.
