If the Knicks made a similar trade where we sent maybe galloway, Lou Amundson and 2 second rounders.... I think every last one of us would become Net fans.
It probably saved the Thunder a fuck ton of money.

That's a done deal. Makes too much sense not to happen.
We should sign Anderson Varejao to be our 3rd string C. He won't get time but is a good locker room guy.

I'd sign him and ditch Seraphin or O'Quinn.

Could also be that you just don't understand the variables involved in proposing and making deals.

Another head shaker... they already have 2 starting point guards. So now they want another to back then up?

CJ McCollom isnt a true PG or playmaker...but then again, roberts isnt either. lol

F Varjo, give me Beverly?

Doesn't make sense to trade for Roberts. They have other needs on that team to be trading for a backup pg

Salary dump for miami (their owner isn't happy with the luxury tax), and Portman are in sixers mode whereby they'll take on salary for picks

They probably want the draft pick.
Why try to understand the logic of a team making a trade? They clearly know more about their own situation. I'm guessing the Portland GM, who is pretty good, has a plan and this move is part of it.

Still holding out hope we can move Seraphin to TOR for a 2nd as well as Calderon, Early and O'Quinn for Stephenson's expirer, CJ Wilcox and the ability to have roster space to bring in D-league talent that can stick.

Naw. That couldn't possibly be it.

Beverly isn't gonna come free.
Though I have a feeling that Lawson will be waived soon. Did he and Melo get along in their brief time together?

I get that but those trades do nothing on the basketball court to help these teams. If You fobs make that type of trade try to get players that help the team. All these trades feel random and rushed

I'd love to have him as our PG though. He'd be perfect in the triangle, defense aside. Use to be a proponent of trading Amare in a three team deal with the Celtics, that had McCollum coming back our way. Too bad we never did anything with that Amare contract.

He has a very reasonable cap friendly contract. Would love to see what our front court looks like with a guard who can hold his own on D.
