Pretty amazing, IMO.

Cavs overpay him...his trade value has probably been diminished this year because he has been nothing special...and now they want to trade him?

Has to be a red light for any team thinking about him being on their roster.

Howard would have to agree to extend with Celtics . . .

Celtics are stupid if this is the Brooklyn pick. Good deal for them if not. Lee is rotting on the bench and Zeller is a replaceable.

So what exactly do they see in Howard?

I had a feeling McLemore was on the trading block. The knicks could use his shooting. I think he could be a decent player with a few adjustments. Also, two guards usually take some time to bust on to the scene.

Would be nice to get him and Darren Collison.

I agree. I think he would be a great pick up. He makes around 3 mil. I wonder what it would take to get him. Also, I wouldn't mind Kevin Martin from the Kings.

I don't know what his value is. It can't be that much. If they are truly desperate to make a push they might want to get AA since he and Karl know each other. Koufos and McL/AA and 2017 2nd rd pick.

Another trade would be to get ORL in the deal, they do not need another wing so they may settle for picks.

Sac - Oladipo

Ny - MCL

ORL - picks

Ultimately, Since he is a client of Rich Paul I think he and Koufos may end up in Cleveland.

MS @ 2/15/2016 6:00 PM
I think Dwight has taken way too much heat. His back was in bad shape with the Lakers and his reputation took a pounding. Kobe isn't an easy person to play with. He drove Shaq crazy and is hard on everyone.

The guys takes 8 shots a night and averages 13 and 11. He's still a top 6 center and if he gets the ball a little more. It's a late round pick and he makes them more dangerous come playoff time and they have shooters to space things out and give Cleveland a handful in the playoffs

Paris907 @ 2/15/2016 6:27 PM
I'll never respect Riles after he faxed CHECKETTS his resignation. Coaches don't do that unless they are chumps

My dislike of Howard comes from the fact that he's never really improved his game over the years...tells me a lot about his drive and work ethic.

Another guy who got by with his pure physical talent, and when that was compromised, he became a pretty pedestrian player.

I don't know if you could get Oladipo for aaron but if you could that would be great. McLemore might be more attainable. Either guy would be a nice addition to the Knicks.

Yeah, wasn't really focusing on the deal, thats one player I would be willing to include Grant in a deal.

I recently proposed a trade for McLemore. he is a young slasher with the athletic ability I always desire in a SG. Although the numbers are not looking good, but he is a dude who can knock down shots; he was once compared to Ray Allen

I hope that's not BKN's pick but it probably is.

I want us to swing some three-way to land that pick -- would hate to see that being traded. Houston's problem isn't Dwight though, it's Harden. Harden can play a team game as long as it's one on five on offense and four on five on defense.

If the Hawks get Howard that tampering was worth it even if a few years later since he's from there. Miami comes up like a fat rat though. I'm not sure if Houston truly gains here though.

Do the Rockets waive Lawson if they get Dragic?

I would think so. makes little sense to keep him.

Houston does not need a pg Wth is wrong with them

Yeah they do because Harden is a damn chuck. You can't expect to be a contender with a dude going 1 on 5 every play.

So much of this shit depends on Melo and his fancies. If he agrees to go to CLE, it's a wrap and that pick is ours. It gets a little trickier if his intended destination is LAC though because LAC will probably want a starting PF coming back in order to send Griffin to BOS. I think a Taj Gibson gets it done on the LAC (and is feasible since he is on the block) but what the hell do we get the Bulls?

You don't think Melo would be a very good PF forward for them next to Jordan? Right now they are without a PF and I thought I read their record without Blake was quite good.

That's a good point. Always thought that Doc Rivers was a little more conservative with his lineups but they've had to have been playing small ball with Griffin out. They'd need a starting 3 next to Melo though and again, we don't really have that on our roster to peak their interest. Who can that guy be next to Melo?

I think Jae Crowder would fit wonderfully but I doubt that the Celtics move him in any trade. He seems to not just be integral to the Celtics' play but at the core of their spirit; move him and it kind of becomes a different team. Are there any switchblade 3's you can think of that is of a similar billing? PJ Tucker maybe?

Oladipo is a lot like Shump in many ways. FOr the Knicks needs I would move him to PG. My ultimate goal would be to get Oladipo and Tobias Harris but the oly way that would happen is if the knicks were willing to part with Lopez and even then it gets dicey.
