I see Shumpert being moved to the Kings. They are bad enough defensively and poorly managed enough to trade for the guy.
Shumpert (CLE) and Brandon Wright (MEM) to the Kings. Wright should theoretically be a good compliment to DeMarcus Cousins.
Timofey Mozgov (CLE) and 2nd round picks (SAC) to the Grizzlies to fill in for the injured Marc Gasol.
Koustas Koufus (SAC) and Ben McClemore to the Cavs. I don't really understand how either team fits into their general team concept but they are reportedly interested in both.

Dude, just provide an opinion and finish with it. What is dumb for you may not be for others. Shump had a lot of fans around here when he was a knicks
I did: see "dumbest threads"

As for Shumpert being traded back here, fuck that shit. Dude is a horrible value player (production vs contract). The only way I'd do it is if it freed me up to make another, more consequential move.
If we could somehow finagle this into a 3 of 4 team deal, which the Bulls are included and give us Taj Gibson to pair with Melo in a Griffin deal, I'd bite the bullet on Iman and whatever shit contract the Cavs need to surrender for that opportunity.

how do you "see" these trades? i have no idea what will happen. lol
I would rather cut Calderon from the roster and keep paying him - that would make it addition by subtraction
Shumpert for Jose - that's more like subtraction by raising to the power of three

Lol, RealGM has multiple reports of these trades between two parties. All I did was match the needs of the teams involvee and expand them.
@nixluva would Avery Bradley get it done?

He is a crusader... his target Fish is gone.
Now Jose took his place...
Pass on Iman. Low IQ despite D. Also knee injuries could catch up sooner than later

Oh I would love Avery! I don't see it ever happening but he would be a big improvement. 2 way player that goes hard. He's kind of like a rich man's Gallo. Not a pure PG which works well in this system.
It was said in the Phil files that Iman didnt take basketball seriously enough. Isn't the type of pro that he is looking for.
I was always a shump fan but im not sure i would take on that contract. As for jose i would just be thrilled to get rid of that contract for additional cap space
Remember when Iman was gonna learn pg at summer league? Then he played just one game and pissed off Dolan? Lol. Good times.
No reason to bring Shump back especially with that contract. The objective should be to bring back efficient players at applicable salaries. Would rather try to get a starting caliber PG and keep Jose one more year as the back up.

you dont keep jose as a backup on that salary.

Well if you can't move him and you have a starter quality point what would you do with him?

Yeah i'd love to get Avery as well. He's a good PG that loves playing defense and can do some things on offense to.

Within the framework presented in this thread let's review......
.
Option A - flip Jose for Shump who is owed 10 million per year for three more years
Option B - find anew adequate starting PG and keep Jose as a backup at 7.4 million for one more year while his contract expires
jesus christ no way would i trade calderon for shumpert. shumpert is signed to a horrid deal for another 3 years, i wouldn't touch him at that salary. just let calderon expire, unless he's part of a bigger deal that brings in an actual good nba player.
