Are they looking at clearing space for Gordon and Hezonja to develop, since they got rid of Harris, and Oladipo is seemingly on the trade block?

Amazing how the direction a team is going can turn on a dime.

I think Orlando is still pointing up. Aaron Gordon is ready to become a breakout player for them. This may just be about clearing room for Gordon to start instead of Harris.

They have a lot of young talent. At some point you have to decide which you're keeping and which you're ditching.

They also created cap space this summer and have no state income tax in FA. Maybe they've got plans we don't know about.

It seems like they are giving away players. Why would you trade for Jennings if he doesn't want to be there. He's going to be a free agent. Its a garbage trade.

They wanted cap flexibility and got out from 3.5 years of Tobias Harris's deal. Skiles supposedly never liked Harris and was hired after Harris was re-signed last summer, I think.

Skiles likes Jennings and Ilyasova - he may try to convince Jennings to stay.

Like it or not - all the pieces in the trade are better than anything we have to offer outside of KP and Melo.

This is the 2nd time Skiles have traded Harris, I believe he traded him to Orlando from Milwaukee. This is the second time he was let go for nothing.

Yeah Skiles supposedly traded him from the Bucks because he didn't get along with Harris which was talked about a lot when Skiles got the job in Orlando but of course they were professional about it and said that they're fine with each other.......guess they're not.

That's the word. They want to give those two time plus they want to re-sign Fournier.

The knicks should take on Watson to get Victor.

I also know they want to trade Fyre(Tobias' Cousin). The knicks could do something crazy like swap Calderon for Fyre. It doesn't clear space but it would create a better roster. It saves Orlando 7m since Frye has 2 yrs left after the season and Jose only has one.

Orl - Lance Thomas, Jose Calderon, Steve Novak, and 2 2017 2nd rd picks(OKC)

OKC - AA, Seraphin

NY - Oladipo, Watson, Waiters and Frye

That's a pretty fair trade for everyone. The knicks can also include a 2017 2nd rd pick. Also, if Orlando want Waiters that would work too. I would cut waiters at season's end any way.
