Would you try to get Gasol? Guy still call play. I dunno what they would expect back for someone so advanced in age.
Right of the bat Rolo makes sense for them especially with Noah hurt and becoming a free agent. Jerian Grant would be a nice nostalgic pick up for them
nope, do not want. i hope the knicks keep jerian and rolo
Rolo, Seraphin and Grant for Gasol and Taj
Kinda silly, but a 3rd team could make it more spicy

Really? Explain why?
I thought my first response would be "you suck enyspree the Bulls would never do that"
I would definitely offer the bulls Rolo, Seraphin, Grant 2018 draft pick for Gasol and Taj.
Then you try to sign Stevenson and or Kevin Martin I'd they are waived.
KP, Melo, Gasol, Stevenson, Martin
with Calderón, Galloway, Affalo, Lance, Derrick Williams, Taj, O'Quinn...
Dude that's a championship caliber team.
Jerian is still developing and just has a confidence issue. Rolo plays great defense and hasn't even hit his 30's yet. Gasol is old and taj gibson is injury prone
gasol made a mistake in going to Chicago.
i'm pissed with him for not coming to knicks to help Jackson build the team here.
he should go on to Memphis now and wrap up his career playing with his brother.
I'd be interested in Gasol this summer, maybe. He's going to opt out. Why give up an asset for him? Also, we have no assets to give up.
Unless they wanted to do a larger trade based around Rolo for Gasol. I'd need a shooter from the Bulls in that case though.
plus we have an gasol like player who's even better in porzingis

I got you, but the chance to catch lightning in a bottle is too great. Gasol would jump right into the triangle with no problem. Lance playing lead guard with the support of Calderón and Galloway off the bench is great to have if he gets off track. That kid is a savage competitor. Kevin Martin would eat all of the opportunities Afflalo messes up. It's an exciting thought
a lot of players that passed on the knicks before are regretting it now. gasol, tobias .....

You just can't fix stupid.
Watch how Derick Williams puts his career back in the toilet by opting out of his Knicks contract and signing with some team that puts him right back where he was last year . . .

Yeah.
I don't know what it is . . . but the Knicks situation sure doesn't help.

Isn't he where he was last year now?? He's still a bench player that can't do anything but highlight dunks and get to the basket and he's still inconsistent. That's pretty much what he's been his entire career. He might get a little more playing time with us but that's because we don't have that many good players on this team.

That's a horrible idea. Yet another pick lost for what? To augment a sub-.500 team with players that are increasingly becoming injury prone and who are on the tail end of their careers? Why do that when we have a future top 10 player to build around? Time start planning for the future and not continue spinning the wheels!
Besides, you got to ask yourself why Chicago, as a win-now team, is looking to deal those guys. I think it's clear they recognize the game is changing and that Gasol and Gibson are relics. We need to be at the forefront of trends, not conform to old status quos.

Not saying that we should give up much for Gasol at this point in his career, but...
...Gasol would almost be the perfect player to have paired with KP- think about what Porzingis could learn from him- his development as a player would accelerate immensely, and remember, Gasol has also been associated with Hernangomez from their time together on the Spanish team.
We would have one of the better bigs from the recent past working with our two young big men- would be like hiring a player coach.

So confirm to the new status quo? I personally don't care what other teams are doing. There's more than one way to win.
I don't like the idea if trading picks either but adding taj and Gasol to this current team makes them better. Also if the Knicks could add Stevenson and Martin.... they could win it all this year.
The future would be wide open because the Knicks would have super cap space.
