Lol I have a feeling that jack shyt is going to happen, and we're going to be stuck with Hose-A at point for the remainder of the season.
Worst case, do nothing, and then stretch/waive Jose in the offseason I guess. Best case a miraculous 11th hour deal bringing Teague to the Knicks to rattle our balls.
fishmike@ 2/18/2016 9:11 AM
love that Geico add.
EnySpree@ 2/18/2016 9:15 AM
Just some fun to get us through the day. We gotta deal with no trades happening for us, Espn ripping the Knicks a new asshole and a somber Phil Jackson press conference.
Gotta stick together

To bad Melo won't do whats best for the Knicks and less us get a cache of picks for him
Rookie@ 2/18/2016 9:42 AM
Let's bust a move!!
Finestrg@ 2/18/2016 9:48 AM
All I know is that if by 3pm, we don't either trade Melo and restock the shelves --OR-- make some kind of move for backcourt help (both look extremely unlikely), I'd IMMEDIATELY call up both Russ Smith AND Terrico White (or Sean Kilpatrick) from the DL. I'd argue we should've done something like this weeks ago, at least for 1 DL guard. Smith takes the open roster spot; we then waive Vujacic or Amundson and slide White or Kilpatrick into the 2nd spot. That'd give us 2 talented young guards to evaluate for the rest of the year. I think each guy ABSOLUTELY could play and excel at the NBA level...Who knows--maybe one or both prove to be keepers, talented players we could lock up for the foreseeable future on team-friendly contracts. It would boost team athleticism/quickness (think of a 2nd unit that featured Russ Smith/Terrico White/Derrick Williams -- D-Will would finally have a couple of more players to get out and play some transition ball with), give us some more talent to help us make a run at the playoffs, give us inexpensive players to pencil in for next year or good young assets we could include in a deal during the offseason. NO BRAINER!

this was great. thanks for the laugh

I'm not looking for a world beater trade. That isn't gonna happen. What I think we need to do is add to raise our talent floor. Personally, I am ok with just a trade for MCW on the Bucks- Calderon, Lance, Serapin or O'Quinn for MCW and Vazquez (FA at end of year). I would be ok with that being the ONLY trade and maybe bringing in some talent and leadership off of guys that may be waived.

I saw a tweet on another board that the Knicks are receiving calls about W.Hermangomez. I'd really hate to see him traded unless it's for a point guard that will be with us for a while and is a legit point guard and i'd still hate to see Willy get traded cause this kid could turn into a good player for us and i'd hate it for KP6 cause you know he's looking forward to playing with him again.

That's got to be Orlando, they heavily scouted both Willie and KP per a previous article. Willie could be looking like a top 10 pick if he were in this years draft, but who really knows for sure. If Orlando wants to give us Hezonja for Willie's rights, I'd take that call and think hard on it.

Dude... a high lottery pick for the draft rights of a 2nd rounder not even in the NBA? Cmon rookie

It would cost Phil barely nothing to take PG DJ Augustine contract off of OKC hands .. I would rather rookie Grant n KP to learn DJ Augustine style
