While the starting lineup is set, the same cannot be said for the bench. Right now the Knicks have very little in the way of depth, as Kyle O’Quinn and Justin Holiday are the only other players on the roster. As a result, the Knicks have a lot of work to do on their second unit.
They extended a qualifying offer to Langston Galloway, and they are hopeful that Lance Thomas will return as well. But, even if they are re-signed, the Knicks could still use a backup point guard.
For that, they look to have their sights set on restricted free agent Tim Frazier. According to ESPN New York’s Ian Begley, league sources say the Knicks are interested in the 25-year old restricted free agent.

I was just coming on here to post this video of him playing the Nets. I know it's just a video of highlight clips but he really impressed me with his confidence he plays with and his great eye for the pass to an open man and his stroke looks good as well. I don't really know much of the kid besides what i heard about him last year but i'm definitely more impressed now.

We're gonna be seeing a lot of player getting signed that we want until some of these teams with plenty of money still left to spend start spending it and some of these players that are looking for bigger contracts are ready to accept a lower to minimum offer to play for a team hat's ready to win. The good thing about our situation that these guys will hopefully be looking at is that with us they're almost guaranteed to get some real floor time with us cause we have so many guys that will need rest and for whoever our backup PG ends up being that player will really get some serious playing time backing up Rose and will even get some starts.

Yeah, he'd be a good grab. Is he an unrestricted FA now?
I would be fine with he or Seth Curry. It'd be kinda nice to get both guys and give ourselves some depth and ability to keep DRose's minutes down.
I'd also like to bring back Sasha V on a minimum deal - he was solid once he shook off the rust last season.
Frazier is still a RFA and i'm with you on bringing back Sasha cause when he has his 3 point shot going down he can be very useful for us, i know he's inconsistent with his shot but i still think he's worth a spot and he can also play both guard spots even though he's more of a SG. Love his all energy all the time as well.
