I'm thinking that his response had more to do with you continuing to say the same thing over and over again, and less about his love for the present Knicks backcourt.Perhaps he's worried about your "Shining" obsession with Calderon and what it might do to your psyche.
Very good translation:::))))))

For example: Does Anthony have the talent to take over the Knick's offense as a point forward (?)
Start Thomas or Williams in place of Calderon and bring Calderon off the bench (?)
Completely impossible . . . or what-the-heck-we're-a-Triangle-team-so-let's-go-all-in-on-it (?)
Not a bad idea but I don't believe it's entirely necessary to do that. I know it seems like more is needed but the needed changes are often very small but will make a huge difference. There are tons of ways to run the same act sets in this offense that would totally change the end result. How you get into the offense is extremely important. I'm very interested to see Rambis vision of the Triangle.

Starting tomorrow we will have a really good idea of Rambis as a coach. He had time to organize practice for the team, and he added a few rankles. He can't do no worse than his predecessor
I feel really bad for Nose
We compare position by position, player by player, I already say I lost every battle in that situation,” Calderon said. “I’m not going to score more points than a lot of point guards in this league. I do a lot of things. I’m a different kind of player. So it happens. We have to deal with it. It’s no fun when you try to win for the Knicks and people want you out of the Knicks."

It's no fun when you try to win for the Knicks and people want you out????? Do you all know what our records have been since we acquired Nose? Our defense has constantly been bad and he has a direct correlation with that. How can this dude claim that he tries to win for the Knicks? Stretch him out please.

How can you claim he does not try? For the 832nd time can you not see that the plan has been for Gallo and Grant to earn his minutes and that has not happened?
Are you so brain dead that you can't understand he was injured most of last season?
Can you comprehend that Knicks problems are deeper than just Jose? Are you singularly so obsessed with him that your willing to trade Rolo for a mid level PG (assuming a deal is available outside of your imagination) and what then? Become again singularly obsessed with KOQ or Seraphin deficiencies that once again annoy the crap out of everyone you come in contact with?

Nalod, do you believe that Jose outplay Gallo and Grant????

Nalod, do you believe that Jose outplay Gallo and Grant????
Im sure you'll figure a metric by which they did. What I saw often was Grant playing badly and Gallo is streaky. Jose is consistent in doing the right thing with the ball and low turn over rate. Very low.
Minutes per game:
Jose 27.6 vs Gallo 25.1
Assists:
Jose 4.1 vs. Gallo 2.3
Pts:
Jose 7.5 per game shooting 46.9%, 40.7% from 3pt
Gallo 8.) per game shooting 42.1%, 37.6% from 3pt
On paper I'd say He has not, or not enough to distinguish or take the job. The minutes are close. Gallo is playing and developing. Nalod wants him to start. But I understand its usually the vet who gets the job and its to be expected consistency from a yoot is needed to take the job.
In my book its not who starts but who finish's. Also who are they on the court with. Your not open minded and have hitched your campaign to Jose being exiled so I don't expect a rational exchange with you.
Bottom line is who ever decided or concluded on the rotation thought Gallo and grant have not played to a level that they should start. We also don't know the team dynamic (lockerroom) to the degree of support or lack of regarding your question. by that, it might have been preferred by the Vets that Jose was the defacto on court QB. From what I read, I think Jose would have supported any decision.
So basically I am saying neither of us are qualified to answer the question. But if I have to, I'd say Gallo has not earned it yet.

How many points would you say that the two give up to the opposition on defense???

Definition of dumb move. And yes, Jose is needs replacing. There's a reason folks are in the D League. Some make it, but some of us vastly overrate D League players.
Apparently there's an obvious replacement PG for us hidden there, yet our super highly paid scouts either don't tell management how good these players are.
Except we also have to be mindful of killing Jose's value by benching him when we aren't that great either and may wish to trade him.
ps I've wanted Jose replaced for a while. It ain't that simple though.

It is very simple. We had to let go of Dalembert to find his replacement.
