It just explains everything going wrong with the Knicks. If guys were consistent we would be a top team in the east. Rolo needs to keep working hard at his offense and continue to be aggressive. Then he will be well worth the money we paid for him
It's how the opponent plays him initially plus the extra boost he gets in momentum leads him to play with a higher motor and energy. Defends and boards better.
Towns is a rookie and we see why some think Porzingis has more defensive potential (while Towns more complete on offense). Lopez was having his way with Towns, easily getting to his spots and getting boards. Towns doesn't defend his rim area or basket very well often lets guys get layups. This for a guy in Towns who a is really strong and a legit Center. May be wise to move Towns to PF for them like New Orleans did a while back for Anthony Davis.
For RoLo this is who he is. A really good 4th option supporting Center. Sometimes that'll mean nights like tonight. Others not so much. His games vs Brooklyn should be thrown out for psychological reasons. He doesn't seem to bring it properly against his brother. However since a slow start from RoLO his numbers have been climbing all season.

He's been getting better and better in the offense and knows where to pick his spots. He was confused at first as to what his role was.
As I mentioned in the game thread...Lopez does not know how good he can be on the offensive end, despite being in the league for so many years.
All in the head with this guy in regard to his offensive game.

His hook is one of the best in the league. His knack for getting balls off missed shots are elite. The offense we run is perfect for a guy like that. He's understood it, he just doesn't seem to realize that he's that legit good that he should be taking that hook aggressively. I have seen his confidence and belief in his shot grow considerably from season's start. As I posted above he's almost doubled his scoring per game from November to Feb.
It's nice to see the growth. He (and Jose actually) is unselfish to a fault at times

That dude is not unselfish. He holds the ball for more that 5 seconds in the post and always look to Score the ball. I don't mind Rolo at all.

I think that's not counting yesterday. He's at 15.3 PPG on 61% FG, 86% FT this month. He also has 10.7 RPG this month. Per 36, he's at 17.1 points and 11.9 rbs.
