Knicks · WHY is this guy still here!??! (page 6)

Naw man, he needs to waive that ntc this summer. The Knicks would be stupid to add another player with a similar contract to Melo's while he's still here.I hate no trade clause contracts. It is a trap yo. I'm telling you. Last season (2014-2015) I had a feeling melo knew about his knee before that season started. I think he knew his body was breaking down and cared about the money and his brand.
And you had these feelings come to you in a dream or did you just assume it by watching him on tv cause that would be some pretty miraculous sh*t for someone to be able to predict something like that about someone they don't know or have even seen except for on the tv set??
I would actually be good either way with Melo either staying and we keep putting pieces around him or if we trade him as long as we get a hell of a return for him. If we keep Melo and add a big piece this off season which should be a PG or SG and then add the other one the following off season then in two years we will have a team that's ready to compete for a deep playoff run and hopefully a championship and Melo will have just two more years on his contract to play with that team to make a run at a championship and then after those two years we have a KP that should be at the top of his game, Rolo who will still be just 29/30 years old but would be at the end of his contract so we can either re-sign him or use that money elsewhere, we'd have whichever PG and SG that we added which should both be top players at their positions and we have $20+ million from Melo's contract ending to add a big piece to take his place and depending on how Melo is playing at that time which he'll be 34/35 years old we could even sign him to a great deal like what P.Pierce has been doing cause i guarantee you Melo will still be a good player at 34/35 years old.

Melo's play and health this season have not coincided with your Chicken Little assessment of a complete dump and why it is needed. The only real time he missed all year was the result of a freak accident (tripping over the ref). Other than than he has played a lot of minutes and taken few vacation (rest) days, which is now common around the league. If they can get reasonable value, then it is worth exploring, but it is unlikely they will see that.

Worst answer ever. I want to live in a Bratislavan bath house like in the movie Hostel but without the murder, doesn't mean I will or should.
Just because he wants, doesn't necessarily mean it's in the best interests of the team or even his own. He's better winning in LA with his buddy CP3 or Chicago. He's not going to win anything here in New York, too many holes on the team to fill, get it through your skull.

And KP enjoys playing with him and wants him to stay.
And that is the continuity which is beneficial to the team.

Yes, of course, on all points, just because you say so. Did you just say winning in LA? Did you read that before you typed it? Winning what? And I mean, CP3's won how many chips so far? And Chicago is a lock exactly to do what given all the injuries? I sure hope to fuck you leave your investments in the hands of others.
You have evolved into the worst poster on this board. Absolutely, bar none. No thought, no reasoned response, not even basic comprehension of the sport and reality.
You can't even ask thread questions correctly.

I think I'm probably one of the most reasonable posters on this board. You're one of the worst, and bring no insight whatsoever. Anyone rightfully critical of anything Melo, you dismiss as hating on the Knicks. Wrong. We're pointing out and even stating the reasons for the deserved criticism. You come off very sanctimonious and holier than thou in your Homerism. God forbid anyone say anything bad about the Knicks, even if it's for discussion purposes. I pity you.

Right, again, I mention actual reasons why what you post is sheehit, and you offer up your opinion on how reasonable you are, when you get called out daily by others for your unreasonableness.
It has nothing to do with holiness or sanctimony. It has to do with reasoned, logical thought. you offer none. continually. live with it or counter what I said above.
Peace.

Thanks starks! I know I'm not in the minority in my feelings towards Melo and the future of the franchise, it's just that so many are afraid to be labelled haters of the Knicks, even though pointing out glaring flaws in the direction in the team is how we express our fandom. I know starks, guns, cartman and a few others always get blasted just for having an unbiased objective take, but whatevs.
Better to look at the big picture regarding the Knicks, think for yourself for once, than just towing the homer company line all the time, and just accept spoonfed mediocrity.
