Miami is a prime candidate, then Memphis, Houston or Chicago, perhaps Dallas may want to give it one more shot in 2016-17.

I dont see Melo waiving his NTC to go to a place like Boston, unless they sign a superstar this summer.

There is some reality to what you say. We won't have multiple choices because of Ntc. Melo dictates his way in and can dictate his way out. I just want yo move on an match kp with 5-6 guys that are somewhat close to his age. Getting 2-3 good picks and a couple of young players is fine

Surprising they didn't suspend him...Coach K should sit him down for a game, IMO...would be the right thing to do. The guy he tripped under the basket could have sprained or broken a wrist if he had tried to break the fall with one hand while trying to keep his dribble.

Wow did this thread go south. The actual question was IF we had 2 picks in the up coming draft from trading ca who would you like? Lol???
Paris907 @ 2/27/2016 8:57 AM
Briggs if you want Valentine as one those picks for Ca the reports are pushing to #3 SG in the draft. If you envision him as a Draymont Green type player, then why draft a traditional PG? Why not have Two sizable guards who can both handle, shoot and pass. I'm for unloading Melo. He hasn't been a winner and it's time we accelerate the build around KP.
TPercy @ 2/27/2016 10:01 AM
I would rather keep him to be honest until KP fully develops. KP's relationship with Melo has been very key to his development. If we trade him, we risk hurting that cornerstone player that we intend to build around. I don't want us to turn into Philly please.

2 mid range hell naw If melo were to waive, knicks better get 1 top 3 pick and 1 mid range. This upcoming draft will not have that many bright prospects.

I agree with targeting backcourt help 100% -- if we're lucky enough to get a couple of 1st rounders somehow--say Valentine pick 10, Demetrius Jackson pick 20 (I thought he'd blow up sky high this year--hasn't happened but I still like him a lot). Melo Trimble's play has also tailed off this yr but I like him a lot too (are Trimble's small arms that much of a concern?)...And I like Ferrell and Felder in the 2nd round, absolutely. All good names.
