Eny definitely sounded like he was agreeing. Also ignorance isn't about opinions. Ignorance is related to a lack of knowledge. When it comes to Wroten, there is a lack of knowledge about his game and current status. This is why I felt it was important to post statements of what he looked like this year from Philly Fans and Media that know his game and could confirm that he looked the same athletically, but Rusty, in the games he played before being let go.My feeling is that Phil and his staff have no doubt been keeping up with him and saw him work out in order to feel comfortable about signing him, which actually hasn't even happened yet, so this is all speculative. Philly guys said he was still just as quick back in December.
The issue with Wroten is his skills and BB IQ. He needs to improve his Shooting, Right Hand and Decision making. Someone asked me about his defense and so I posted info about his abilities and potential as a defender. They were very positive. He still needs to be coached up to make full use of his natural physical talent.
I don't see Wroten being a guy to run the entire offense. I expect they'll put him on the Pinch Post side where he can use his speed to penetrate and create. This is how they used Shved. It would make no sense to put him in the corner looking to shoot 3's like Kerr. You want Wroten working the 2 Man game and attacking the rim. You want him being the Push Guard, looking to create easy buckets.

WOW! I LITERALLY just defined what the word Ignorant actually means and you just completely missed that. Opinions don't have to be fact based! If someone makes a statement that is inaccurate because the writer doesn't know the facts, that is ignorance.

So if I post information and facts about Wroten that clear up misunderstandings or false claims, those aren't my opinions. They're facts. If someone chooses to disagree with facts that isn't my problem and I'm not disrespecting them.

I think it's one of those make-good/non-committal 3-yr deals you see giving to players like these where it's all nominal money with years 2 and 3 completely unguaranteed.

It's smart because it's exactly what we did with Galloway after his 10 day expired. You give the guy a shot and if he plays well then you have him for cheap. If he's a bust, you cut him after training camp. However what you don't want to do is have a guy play well for 6-7 games and then command a bigger contract and walk in free agency. The Knicks can take their time with Tony, feed him the offense and what they want from him so he can work on it all summer. Then the test comes in training camp and the start of the regular season. Already I like our backcourt more with Grant and Wroten next year. We've got capspace to sign someone more to that, hopefully we can. Wroten is like having a 2nd round draft pick this year. You got a guy who is 22, who has shown NBA level ability. He's got an injury and he may not pan out. It's a worthwhile gamble, like a 2nd round pick would be. I love this move. Reminds me of signing Galloway last year. We need to make these moves because we're a team without any draft picks this summer.

Yeah, I don't think so. I've been curious about this myself. What's the deal? Only what, under 20 games to go now? Get him in here already. If he's physically able to go, get him out there.
