Brad Stevens seems like a good young coach and all. But at the same time he was 25-57 his first yr. They drafted Smart in the lottery. They were then 19-30 until they made the trade for Isiah Thomas who they added to be a instant offense off the bench. Isiah Thomas turned into a stud and one of the better PGs in the league they go 21-12 to finish the season and go on to have this quality season they are having now. If the Kings didn't look to give up Isiah Thomas or Celtics decided that Thomas would hurt the development of Smart and relied on there lotto pick to be there future. Then they would continue to struggle mightily in the W/L column.

Maybe I only see Chauncey when he is talking about the Knicks/Melo. However,whenever those are the topics he goes after Melo. Do other ex players that are broadcasters do that? I know many of their peers are no longer playing but Chauncey seems to be that guy. Coaches that broadcast also don't seem to go there like Billups does. Just my opinion. At least Billups has a basis for his criticism. I do think he was really pissed about the trade and later being amnestied.

Maybe I only see Chauncey when he is talking about the Knicks/Melo. However,whenever those are the topics he goes after Melo. Do other ex players that are broadcasters do that? I know many of their peers are no longer playing but Chauncey seems to be that guy. Coaches that broadcast also don't seem to go there like Billups does. Just my opinion. At least Billups has a basis for his criticism. I do think he was really pissed about the trade and later being amnestied.

It's better to fire Phil.... then murder Dolan. Only then can we get a real owner and a real GM that will hire Thibbs. We could sign Thibbs to a 10 year deal because we're going to need that much time to collect our own draft picks enough to finally get all star players to compete. So by 2021 the knicks could finally start making a run in the playoffs.
