Absolutely... I watched all 8 games with him coaching.
Have no major issues with his work.
But this is not the point.
We are in the early stages of rebuild... so why interim coach matters?
I dont see this as anything. Phil is supporting the coach, nothing more. If Rambo gets killed in the exit interviews he wont be back, I think its that simple. I cant look at this as anything more than lip service to support his current coach.

I agree, I think he's seen the players tuning out rambo , and maybe feels they're doing it because they assume he won't be around next season.
Phil Jackson, according to league sources, hired Rambis as his interim with the hope of keeping him on as his next head coach.
That's the line of the ESPN article. Much to do about nothing. No re-affirmation of this, basically nothing to this story. Basically Phil hired Rambis hoping he would have success, and thus be the answer at the coaching position. Thats it.
The team has had 2 games in a row where they came out strong. They should've won the Celtics game and they did win the Pistons game. If this type of effort continues that is a good sign. The losing is tough to deal with but there have been some positive developments as well. I saw some really good things from Rambis even amongst some of the bad things.
Maybe Phil wants to see him with a Training Camp and a little more talent to work with or this could just be Phil supporting his guy for now.

If Rambis is going to ride the vets until the wheels fall off for the rest of the season (great idea BTW) he better do a damned good job. Tired of hearing about how having a better record than last year with a gutted roster, and no Melo for most of it, is some kind of an achievement.

That exit interview will be held on the family trip to Greece this summer. These guys are bff's like family

Hey... Phil loved Fisher also. Its a business. I actually meant the player's interviews. I mean if there is some push from the players that they simply dont like him its a factor. They are trying to draw talent in. This matters

Believe Phil feels Rambis is the best alternative to him being on the court. Because they are friends, he will feel free to add his input. Something he stayed away from with Fisher as he didn't want to be seen as overstepping his boundaries. With the criticism that has begun, I feel he wants more control. Therefore don't see his closest ally going anywhere soon.

I have friends I would trust with my life but not with a 6 pack of beer. All I am saying is whatever warm and fuzzy exists between Phil/Rambis will exist after Phil fires him for sucking. I dont see their history as a factor. Of course Phil wants him to succeed but is also well aware of the things that Kurt lacks.

Maybe. Also another possible scapegoat in the chamber. I am more concerned about adding some more talent in the summer.
This is a $hitshow and we all should admit it among ourselves. Unless the goal is to tank for a high pick next year keeping Rambis makes no sense. Then again signing tank commander Wroten and this move together if the plan was to tank is perfect.

This goes back to my opening post which i said that i think that Phil may have told Rambis that if he can maybe win a certain amount of games that he would get the full time gig which is the reason why i said that i think he's so adamant on playing the vets and not giving guys like Grant time to adjust to the game, cause he's trying everything he can to win as many games as possible to get the full time gig. This is just my thoughts and i think it sounds like it could be something that Phil said to him.
