What's wrong with it?
People who "disagreed" with Woj upthread were basically saying they agreed with Woj and it was nothing new.
Do you think he's off-base?
Yeah but Dolan will outlast both. He never goes away.

for me that is fairly a weak quote, that is the standard for ALL GM's/Presidents.
Wojo kept repeating the trade clause as his reason for his statement. That's nice and obvious but doesn't really hold any weight.
I don't get the point of the video. Didn't tell us anything new, did it?
Just typical media. Drift whichever way the wind is.
Draft day - Phil Jackson is horrible as an executive. He has no idea what he is doing. He can't recruit any free agents. He drafted Porzingis. Who is a 3-4 year project.
40 games into the season (Knicks 20-20, KP playing exceptionally well) - Phil Jackson has done very good. How about that kid Porzingis. The Triangle culture is working in NY. New York has been a surprise.
Now we're just back to what it was around when Phil drafted KP, didn't sign any big name in free agency. The media is just back to what it was saying in the summer. Was to be expected. The Knicks have been awful for years and years, have traded away their draft picks and Jackson is trying to do this in a way that's very foreign. They want Phil to do things that they're accustomed to in New York. Sign the big name players, trade for the big names. Problem with that is in the past NY did just that and haven't shown they'd have any success doing it that way.

That much we can agree upon.

Spot on. Certain posters here seemingly need to continually beat an agenda to death to make themselves feel better.
Are you saying Adrian Wojnarowski is a bitter poster here who made this video to beat his anti-Phil agenda to death?
No, I believe you just need to read most of the three pages of this thread...

Excellent Post!
The process of building up this team is ongoing and was never going to be a "complete in one offseason" deal. IMO the process is still on target even with the season not being as good as it could've been. There's more to this than the current season's win total. The losing can have an impact on the Top FA's deciding to come here, but there was probably a low chance of landing one anyway. We'll see how that goes this summer.
There are other FA options beyond the elite names and Phil will have a shot to land those players. It's going to be about putting the right pieces in place to improve the team. Phil did actually fill some spots and this summer the holes are fewer than they were last year. That is progress.
