Exactly. Don't even need the Glove, would be overkill.

Any member of the Spurs would do.

Where's the GS Warriors ball lickers now?

What happened? Spurs happened? Aldridge shyt down Draymond's throat. Curry shyt the bed. Pop made Kerr his bitch.

Pretty obvious no?

Thanks. Warriors so overrated right now. Warriors.

Guess great defense beats great offense any day. Curry is not GOAT yet, guys, neither is GS even close to 96 Bulls even if they pass 72 wins.

Pin drops in this thread now.....

Today's players are too skilled and athletic. Yes, many of yester-years stars would translate just fine in today's game, but the average rotation player would not. Today the league is faster, more athletic, and has much more depth. The players get better, not worst. GS would run circles around any championship teams from previous decades.

Not true. Not one of these players are as skilled and athletic as Jordan and Pippen in their prime. Maybe Lebron, but you think Curry could get off those ridiculous shots off with Jordan(9 ALL NBA DEFENSIVE FIRST TEAMS AND 1 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR) and Pippen(8 ALL NBA DEFENSIVE FIRST TEAMS, 1 SECOND TEAM) face guarding him all day? These guys were like Draymond Green before Draymond was fashionable. They could guard 3 or 4 positions like an octopus, then punish you on the offensive end. And I won't even bring up Rodman who won back to back defensive player of the year awards in Detroit before leading the league in rebounding for 7 years straight.

Get off your recency bias high horse. Warriors, though great, are a product of their no hand check no breathing on offensive player era.

jordan could not stop curry ... nobody can. With his dribbling and retarded range? You kidding me?

Are you sure?

I am sure. Guarding players 20 feet and in is easier than guarding players you have to pick up once they get over half court. And you have to chase around screens for days. Curry's speed, conditioning, use of screens, bball IQ, and quick release would make Jordan's head spin.

This post LMAO once again.

We would invite you to this gathering but honestly, I don't think most bars allow 15 year olds

Really is remarkable for this new generation. Too much snap chatting, tweeting, vining, instant gratification. Someone sub tweeted that Curry is the GOAT so he must be!

Friggin' Porzingis made Curry's hall way shot in flip flops in one try. Anything can be duplicated over time. Curry's not the first to perform at this level and won't be the last. Come on man, Curry is great, but he's not quite Mount Rushmore great with MJ and Oscar and Wilt yet

Sure, since Curry is the most marketable players right now. A hall way shot of him seems a big deal to the whole world.

Not talking about MJ, Oscar and Wilt, I am still doubting if Curry is as great as Allen Iverson.

this wins in my book the absolute worst post of the year. Iverson??? Dude! you need to nap (for a month) hhahaha geeeez

Curry really needs a nap after today's game against Spurs.

Warriors are fully taking advantage of this era's rules....we should applaud them!

Now if you were to have a debate 96 Bulls vs 16 Warriors, you'd have to apply the same logic. Which era's rules would you play in the 90s or 2010's? Either way I'd give the edge to Jordan and Jax Bulls, MJ would not simply allow Curry to go off and would take it upon himself to murder and destroy him mentally and physically. Pip would lock down Klay, and Rodman would give Draymond some noogies.

Players are quicker, smarter (shot selection), and more athletic now. I don't think the top teams from almost a quarter century ago could compete with the top teams now.
And if players are not athletic or quick enough to keep up with Curry now, I don't see how someone from the 1990s could.

Yeah, these are small sample sizes but the last 2 years he's making 45% of his shots that are 26 to 28 feet from the basket. The #s are a little old now. This article was in December. It's a small sample but he's effective from well beyond the 3 point line.

If these same GS Warriors played the Knicks in the 90s....

There's a good chance Starks would head butt Curry into oblivion, Mason would bear hug Klay into submission, Oak would make Draymond his bitch, then Ewing would scale the Empire State Building and shyt down Kerr's throat.

Actually, that's exactly what would happen.

Man, do i miss those times!

Wrong. See old veteran San Antonio Spurs on March 19th.

Just need to scheme against midget ball.

ESOMKnicks @ 3/20/2016 11:33 AM
Quick question: since Curry is only 6'3" why don't opposing teams pit him more often against a big guard to abuse him in the low post and get him all exhausted on the defensive end which would slow him down on offense too?

I thought the Cavs made things tough for GS in the finals. If the Cavs were healthier things might have been different. It remains to be seen how things will go when they play the Spurs. GS has to prove what they are by winning again and it may not be as easy as the regular season makes it look.

Plus on GSW's way to the finals they were lucky to have the Clippers and Memphis suffer injuries to their key players. At full strength, I think those teams were better than GSW.

Surprised so many is putting so much stock on a regular season game.

Agreed. Both the spurs and Warriors would dominate 90s teams.
ActionJackson @ 3/20/2016 2:38 PM
Somehow this thread became about the 96 Bulls vs the 2016 Warriors but honestly, I dont think this time could beat the Bad Boy Pistons in a 7 game series either cause Isiah & Dumars are athletic and nasty enough to lock down Klay & Curry and if they did get by them Mahorn, Laimbeer & Rodman would've made sure they NEVER came into the lane ever again.

you mean the GS team that was without bogut, ezeli and Iggy? Outrebounded by 17?

with curry shooting 1-12 from 3?

and still the warriors were tied with a few minutes to go?

In SA?

Also Ewing would treat little Draymond like this and then tell his momma to stop all her crying
