nice player on both ends
but how ?
lets all salivate
It would have to be for Melo. I'd think about it, if Melo was still open to going to Chicago.
The only other thing on our roster they'd take for Butler would be KP. And obviously he's off the table.
Melo and Mirotic to LAC; Butler to NYK; Griffin to CHI. Get it done Phil!
NTC....ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

yeah I don't really worry, I just look at things like performance, before considering posting stupid things. I also wonder about things like which player do we never win without?

Keep on hating! It's much easier than thinking!
besides butler stated last night that he wants to stay in chicago

maybe, but him or rose will have to go because there's no way those 2 will wrk well together

agreed. but we all know Butler is the better player and its his team. so that means Rose will go. Do you want D. Rose and that crazy contract?

The contract would be ok if he can stay healthy for more than a handful of games. But I certainly would not trade Melo, Rolo, or KP for anyone in the league right now.
1) I want to keep a core that's develop a chemistry
2) It would be like 2 steps fwd, one step back
3) those 3 suffer on most nights because the lack of a pg
oh youre talking frmo the knicks perspective.
Cant trade melo unless he wants to go anyways

Love KP but let's not get carried away. KP diissapeared way too often to be considered that. If he was what you claim, we would have won a lot more games. Think your also out of touch with how the league views Melo. Think He is viewed on a higher plane than you seem to want to admit. I actually believe Chicago would do that trade and even add another player. But let's talk about it a lot more. Specially since Melo doesn't have a NTC and because the Knicks actually have an interest in getting rid of their perennial All Star who is their franchise player.
KP is the Knicks future. There should no longer be any appeasing of Melo whatsoever in terms of who is acquired this off-season. The real offseason will be the summer of 2017. Melo's time as a Knick has been one of underachievement and chaos, with a few bright spots. This season was a bright spot until the ankle roll occurred. That may be some of melo's karma for all we know.
As KP is the future and Melo is not getting any younger, trading Melo for Butler is a no-brainer. But Chicago would never do that because Jimmy Butler is THEIR future. He's one of my favorite three players in the league right now, along with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Moreover, melo would never accept a trade to a team that has a broken down rose and a creaky gasol, a brittle noah, and role players.

Other than more star type players that would likely appeal to melo especially, why is 2017 the real offseason?
Or Lopez n Melo & Caldeon for Butler n Noah

I am wondering what players were brought into appease Melo. I don't think Tyson was. I know Kidd wanted to play with Melo but I don't think he was brought into appease Melo.

Tyson said specifically he came here because of amare and melo. he felt they could contend together. he even recruited him in dallas, so he actually would be the prime example. the Knicks have had so many former Nuggets, it's hard to not see who were melo influenced.
JR, K-Mart, Afflalo, Camby.
