I respect Samaki walkers ability to coach but I seriously hated his game as a player lol.

He's very passionate about the offense which is a valuable trait to have for us going forward.

To me he was always the bum Walker to be drafted that year with Antoine. On the court at least

They usually turn out to be the better coaches. It's the star NBA players that can't make that transistion.

Yup very true.

Although I think Antoine Walker would make a phenomenal trendsetting coach. He would revolutionize the game. Mike Dantoni SSOL?? Ha try TSOL - 3 secs or less! And the league will finally implement the 4pt shot!

Bring all the Triangle guys to NY!!!!! new generation of guys. ALl have won championships. What we don't know as fans is how champion teams practice and keep that intensity. We just see the games!
Guys that have been there know. The stars have financial security and its rare they stay hungry. Maybe Fisher once he stopped playing found the transition very hard. I don't know.
Guys like Phil, who led the NCAA in scoring playing for HOF coach Bill Fitch, then Red, (had back surgery and had to reinvent himself) are usually more cerebral about the game.
