Seth is right. It does suck. The thing is that guys like Vecsey are throwing grenades to draw clicks. There's nothing to really report on the Knicks at this time so rumors fill the void.

Yep, the New York media is bored right now so they just take anything they can find about the Knicks and turn it into something bad so they can get their shyt read by people.
oh i disagree! i love the NBA first but happen to be a knicks fan. not the other way around. love NBA playoff basketball

Yep, the New York media is bored right now so they just take anything they can find about the Knicks and turn it into something bad so they can get their shyt read by people.
i love the knicks but we havent exactly deserved to be praised for 15 years. There are things to be excited about like KP,jerian,hopefully willy, and free agency. However we have no draft pick AGAIN and we have won 49 games in two years. Thats why i dont get upset at articles like some do. When they start winning then theyll get a lot of praise which is the way it should be. I dont like negative articles about the knicks but i cant argue with it either until we prove we can win

The playoffs are awesome as is the draft, free agency, summer league etc. but the article focused in on the negative press that the Knicks seem to be able to generate when nothing is happening.

See I think you are misunderstanding the point being made. No one is asking for PRAISE. There's simply no reason for the overly negative stuff. The rumors with no substantiation. The digs at Phil and the Knicks which litter any article on the Knicks no matter what the subject. It's all just too much given that literally NOTHING has happened besides the Triangle Seminar which they also twisted into a negative story despite the fact that it's a good thing when the greatest coach in our lifetime is teaching our players personally. What the hell is negative about that???

im not misunderstanding anything. I just think some take offense to anything remotely critical of the knicks. Nix you are a very optimistic fan and i think thats great, i honestly do. Im also positive about the future. However i dont act like everything is terrific because it certainly isnt. I mean we have won 49 games in 2 years so i definetly understand why the media doesnt post glowing reviews about us

What you don't seem to acknowledge is that the nothingness makes Rambis all the more likely. And Seth is saying that is what sucks. Because Rambis sucks.
