I came across this quote and thought Phil is attempting to do the same thing but from a higher perch then as the floor general. Not just assemble a roster but also the management to accomplish that. Regarding the roster, maybe some of us look at Phil as what he has NOT DONE as the knick leader which is compromise the future to satisfy the frustrated owner who seemed to have taken his cues from the media and fans since he showed Checketts out the door.
That's why some of us are not in the "Hate phil camp". We also view him as a knick, not the guy who messed with us in the 1990's! We let him get away once.
Calls to Dolan to fire him, or intercede to hire a brand name coach I view as evidence that not all fans are in on this. The media hears you and will sell you on this.

That's the drama that you believe. Kerr went to golden state because it was the dream job. He wanted ti stay on the left coast near family. Plus the dude is not healthy. I think he knew that.
