we take back the additional 6 mm in salary this yearly salary this year and on the books for 13 next year but if he stays healthy it's a steal of a price. Could also do it with Oquinn to frayboth years. No way Phoenix cN hold bledsoe knight and Booker. Oquinn might make the most sense. I don't know if the Suns can bet much better value for bledsoe right now
Bledsoe would be great, if healthy. And a value acquisition, if healthy. How is his knee progressing?
I think this would be a mistake. I really feel that Grant deserves the run next year. I really think we need to max out Beal and see if it works. If it doesn't then I would consider keeping Calderon as a back up. I don't think pg is a need for the Knicks what they need to do is get that end to end type of sg that can cover ground fast and take it from one end of the court to the other.
It is a big problem for the Knicks the lack of athletic players that can take the ball and push it and force the situation. What we have is a half court team very little easy opportunities created. This team has to work just to hard for everything.
Bledsoe is a decent pick up but adding his extra salary I don't know I would rather keep the cash for a sg.
I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell this happens.
They can get way more then Calderon. Now if we were to eat Chandler's contract they may just ask for a future draft pick.
I remember read that we were considering trading for him at last years draft (our pick for him, I think was the rumor)- I like him but he is very worryingly injury prone and for someone so reliant on his athleticism thats very worrying.
EDIT- actually, the reason it didn't happen was said to be because we tried to offload Calderon on them.
you do realize that Calderon is the worst starting PG in the NBA. also NO ONE would care about a small 6 million in cap space in this new salary cap. theres NO POSSIBLE way phoenix would deal jose for bledsoe.

It's a risk reward on both sides I'm not sure what Phoenix can get for Bledsoe but we can offer them a player plus cap space.
Any team in the league could absorb Bledsoe for straight cap space. And probably throw in a pick or two.

I think the Suns would prefer to unload Brandon Knight's contract, given his poor play and Devin Booker's emergence as the 2 guard. If the asking price was only Calderon and cash, I make that deal but doubt that Bledsoe could be had so cheaply.
I would try to get more for calderon.
So JC who we can't give away can get EB, I'm weak.

I could see this happening, at the deadline and after Bledsoe blows out a knee and separates a shoulder
Where do you come up with this stuff? We aren't getting Bledsoe for Calderon and we aren't getting a mid 1st/lottery pick to get Valentine. Maybe we can trade L.Amundson for Steph Curry while we're at it.
I do think Phil will find a way to get us a 2nd round pick or maybe even a low 1st if we're lucky cause those are actually realistic options.

I dont think Phoenix wants to keep Bledsoe and I dont think there are many teams willing to fork over #1 picks for a player who has been hurt seriously 2/3 years. Its just a thought process about how we can use cap space
