Wow. That sucks. Also, the Heat have been so resilient, losing Bosh but getting Johnson. Not sure that they can overcome the loss of Whiteside.
Miami vs Clev won't be the same. Miami had a chance with Whiteside,but now Clev will take it.
Wow. I don't even think Miami can beat Toronto now. I didn't really see them beating Cleveland anyway though.
Remember earlier in the season when people were trying to say the East was better than the West this year? Lol.
I am reading sprained so he will miss the playoffs but be back for training camp with whomever he goes to (I think the Blazers)

Not certain he'll get the max but I think this will have a small impact on his contract if any. It's not going to cost him $100 mil. I think it will cost anywhere from nothing to $10 or 15 mil. Guys normally recover fine from this.

Yeah, my point was he will still get whatever he was supposed to get. Its just a sprain, but even a tear would not have any impact on his contract.
Nalod thinks the Knicks and Miami are natural trade partners for the Heat to get Melo.
resigning Whiteside is a part of it. It will be a dick move but if they can retire Bosh (he should still get paid) they can easily re-up wade, sign Whiteside, give Joe Johnson something, Keep Josh Richardson, promote Tyler Johnson and be better with melo at the SF/PF than Winslow. We can give them Jose for back up and salary.
That's if Melo wants this of course..........and that Phil thinks Winslow can be his alpha in two years.

They can at least get an exemption for bosh if he can't play. No bird rights but they got cap. You right, its going to be expensive.
