Knicks · Mock draft #1-35 (page 2)
callmened wrote:murray is a natural PG who was forced to move to SG at kentucky. to my surprise he shot the hell out of the ball. but due to his size and lack of quickness, i think he'll play SGto me - marquiss chriss has TREMENDOUS upside and no one is talking about him. lol
Agree on Chriss but he realistically is not dropping below 10 and maybe should be below 5 or 6. Im not in the Simmons brigade--Id pass on Simmons for a bunch of players.
The guy who in the last few days Ive really co0me to like is Barber. I know finestrng mentioned him --if we go down the list of players from the G position who can make plays WITH the dribble OVER 6-2--hes probably the best player that we can GET slightly above Felder because of length.

A SG who cant shoot?
That's why I said they get him and let him develop. His form is nice but he is a freshman and a bit of a gunner also he can create his own shot. Everytime I see a video of him I think if he were to wait a year he would probably be a mid 1st round pick.
I could name 15 of those and Richardson is not as high as the others. If we trade IN it cant be for a guy shooting mid 30's who isnt great at any one skill--that is what they call a 2nd round pick.
We would have to disagree with you on his shooting skill.
Also from Upside and Motor
Richardson’s most attractive attribute is his scoring ability from the wing. His offensive game is best defined as streaky, but when he’s playing near his peak, the 20-year old is an impressive outside shooter and shot creator. Richardson’s mechanics on his jumper are smooth and his length gives him a nice, high release point that makes it difficult to challenge. During his freshman season, he regularly showed off NBA three-point range, often pulling up from a few feet behind the college three-point line.
Don't get me wrong. He is second rounder material and if he goes then I wouldn't be surprised. However the mechanics are all there to the point I think he could maybe break through to be a serviceable rotation player sooner than later.

I'm not debating the % I'm talking about the mechanics. Here is highlight video of him. His form is good. He does have upside and good mechanics.

Im not there on him. Hes a 2nd rounder--it would be insane to reach for him with a future.

No way in hll anyone sells a pick earlier than 40.

4 teams have 3 first rounders this year. No way can they all use them to stash euro's. Also most teams don't value late 1st rounders because of the guaranteed contract aspect of them.
