Is the window now 3 days? Pretty sure they reduced that timeframe.
It may just be too risky for Beal. There are other options with far less risk that would be good additions for this team. It's not like he's been blowing it out the water.

Can a team have more than one offer out to a RFA at a time?? It could get a little tricky if we have more than one offer out to RFA's and we're waiting to see which team matches i would think.

That's was a little different situation. At the combine all 32 teams get the results from each player's medical evaluations and apparently Myles was a risk. It had nothing to do with the media those teams were going to find out or knew regardless.

I'd give a max offer to M.Conley or N.Batum before i give one to Beal. Love his stroke but he's always hurt so won't be able to see it enough. Were you not around for the Amare' years??

He came out to the media and said he was gonna eventually need surgery on his knee and everyone was saying they couldn't believe he did that. It was a dumb thing to do and every "draft expert" said that you should let the teams do their own homework and find that out for themselves.
Have no interest in Conely..Batum I'm interested in if he plays the 3, Melo 4 & Porzingis 5.
Then maybe trade RLopez to Lakers in S&T for Clarkson. Although the thought of taking a chance on Beal is very intriguing. You can argue he's the 2nd or 3rd best shooter in the nba behind Steph Curry. If you have Beal & Porzingis on the outside with Melo on the low block..watch the F... Out!
Melo can kick it out to those shooters or Grant/Wroten and let them take it to the hole hard.
The only free agents we should focus on is Beal & Batum. Killer B's!

Beal is nowhere near being the best shooter in the NBA right now. He does not even crack top 15. Beal and John Wall both have a typical "AAU" style of play where aesthetics trumps efficiency, no matter how ridiculous their shot is. Beal said he would eradicate long twos out of his shot, still haven't seen it yet.
Lopez for Clarkson? Really? That is a straight up suicide pill.

I'm not a doctor and neither are you - if doctors say he is healthy I gamble on the young 23 year old talent.
Stat was already what 28 when he came to NY with 8-10 years of wear on his body and post micro fracture surgery. I like that Beals age range mirrors KP and he's a superior talent. Comes down to what doctors tell me but just because he's had some early injuries doesn't preclude me from writing him off.
Lopez is a very good "back up" or 5th option starter. Players like Beal & Clarkson are 22/23 yrs old. They have room for growth in the their game. Also if Beal's injuries are not chronic (hence relying on our doctors- which hasn't been reliable in the past) then he can over-come those injuries and be the star player he's capable of being.
Basically the one guy most people would be okay with is Nic Batum (assuming Durant re-signs or goes elsewhere). I like a player with an all around game but like him better at the 3, not 2. Hornacek excelled with Channing Frye at Center and it's safe to say KP will be better than Frye at Center (especially in today's NBA) It can be argued that Melo is the best low post player in the NBA, lets utilize that. Melo is a top 5 PF in the NBA.

Well lucky for us you're not our GM because giving a max contract to B.Beal could really hurt our future and that's a chance that i hope we don't take. I wanna make it clear though that if he didn't have the injury history and wasn't in harms way of having problems with his knee for the rest of his career then i'd be fine with giving him a max contract offer but that's just not the case with Beal.

Lopez is the reason that our front court has progressed so much. He is a worthy starter for us as a center.
Bradley Beal and Jordan Clarkson are not that good.
Let's say we do sign Bradley Beal....
