Knicks · JR Smith....would you?? (page 1)

Now before you jump on your keyboard to type NO just give it a couple seconds of thought. He's seemed to of calmed down some even though that could be because he's now in Cleveland and playing with Lebron but the guy can still light the game up with 3 pointers. He loves New York and playing in the Garden for the Knicks and Melo is his best buddy so i actually wouldn't doubt if he'd wanna come back to play for the Knicks. If i knew we were getting the JR that wasn't gonna bring all his immature antics on and off the court i'd be cool with him coming back.

I bet he could win another 6th man award with Hornacek running his system.....that is if he's running his system full on which we don't really know yet.

There are going to be other young SG's that Phil can look to get who will fit KP's timeline, which is THE MOST important thing right now. All of Phil's moves have to be in support of building around KP. Hopefully no more bone heads if we can help it. JR has been focused but look who he's playing with! He get's to ride on Lebron's coat tails and life is good.

We need to move on and there are players in Free Agency as well as the draft that we can go after. Really talented SG's too.

or he can revert to NYJR and completely fuk up the team chemistry.

And all he's being asked to do is shoot the 3 and play some D. Doesn't have to handle the ball or think.

Nalod @ 5/22/2016 9:17 PM
Shump and JR look good as role played to allstars.

Good for them. No to a return.

we need some more negatives on JRSmith to NY.

knicks1248 @ 5/23/2016 1:38 AM
There's nothing in cleveland to do, so he's way more focus
tj23 @ 5/23/2016 4:31 AM

LOL JR is like option #4 on the Cavs on a good night. All he has to do is catch and shoot.

No more retreads. PLEASE!!!!

newyorker4ever @ 5/23/2016 9:44 AM
Well damn, i thought for sure i'd have at least a couple of you would think if we could get a more calm and mature JR back that he'd actually be a good fit especially as our 6th man.
Knixkik @ 5/23/2016 10:18 AM
NO WAY! This is the same guy. And he's not getting any younger. There are only a few teams in the league he can be a consistent positive contributor.
jrodmc @ 5/23/2016 11:07 AM
No thanks. That train has left the station, and streaky 3 point shooting aside, the JR train has been proven devoid of any BBIQ.
