Well his list of crushes is very long just like it is every year at this time so there's no way he can't hit on some of them.

Just looking at Draftexpress's last 5 in the top 60

55 Michael Gbinije # 28 in my mock
56 Kay Felder # 17 in my mock
57 Cat Barber # 25 in my mock
58 Isiah Whitehead # 30 in my mock
59 Dorian Smith
60 Joel Bolomboy

Out of the last 6 players listed--I have 4 of them as first round picks--just my opinion. All guards. The draft is cut off around 7 and it just drops like a rock. The value you can get at 8-9 can be found in rd 2 and its Loaded absolutely loaded with guards.
So if we are going to use assets to move up into rd 1 for a really good player--then we should get a big because there are not too many in this draft and Maker is just so unusual. I moved him up to lottery position #6 AHEAD of Ben Simmons. I think Maker actually compares to KP in many ways except that I think maker will be ultimately stronger physically. He has a better first bounce that KP and hes a better ball handler than KP. Many of the same bad things that people said about KP they said about Maker. I view Maker as how KP was viewed the year he almost came out. Just comparing to Willyg for one moment--Maker has so much more defensive potential--his reach and athletic ability allows him to get much higher than Willy G. He can shoot--Im not sure Willy G can shoot it he can handle I havent seen the same from Willy. Willy is efficient in what he does--but hes not close to the divers skill set of Maker.

Where is M.Richardson in your mock??

Hes going to get strong enough that he'll be able to really contest on defense rebound well--and when fully developed--much like KP--hes go the ability to score all over the place. Just comparing him to Simmons for one second--hes 3-4 inches taller and hes got much better touch. This is not a 6-9 guy--this guy is very tall and skilled. You cant teach his height but you can get stronger. 3 years NBA star.

Also Myles Turner who is 6-11 looked like sht in college--awkward did not play well in many games. But he had the skills and Maker might have more. Hes going to get much stronger and a team is going to be smart and take him.

I don't understand why you do this so much but there's soooooo many players that have great careers in HS or college that never make it in the NBA because it takes much more than just the on court talent but you and some others see these guys that play well in college or the d-league and think they can do the same in the NBA which is absolutely not the case and Anthony Randolph is just one of the MANY perfect examples that are out there. Now of course i have no idea if this kid or any kid that hasn't played in the NBA yet will do well when they get there but the NBA is a whole other monster than HS, college, Europe or d-league and the amount of players that can be named that were supposed to be great or good in the NBA but turned into busts is endless.

Anthony Randolph was kind of a low IQ guy. I think he had a lot of physical skills but wasnt smart enough of a guy to put it together the right way. I wouldnt compare him to Thon who is all of 7-1 two very different specimens. Its funny how some go back to a few misses I had and forget how quality hits as well? Over 15 years youre going to have a few misses. The first pick I ever made on any forum was Michael Redd--believe me no one else in the stratosphere knew who he was.
