I agree. Also, that is a pretty good job to have to move onto a head job. If he an fix the rockets d he is a desired head coach candidate. If he can't and Dantoni struggles he probably gets a chance to coach the rockets.
Big mistake for Houston to hire Dantoni.... As coach why do you need a defensive specialist on your bench? I can understand you need an asst but he is clearly too offensive minded..
Also, his last 2 stops as coach were pathetic.. I think DantonI is done as an NBA coach...
