Mr. ETwaun Moore

Pros
- tough combo guard can play PG or SG
- solid defender
- improved shooter
- cheap - sign him for $8 mill

Cons
- poor passing instincts
- injury prone
- foul trouble
- not quick or fast

i'd rather have moore than rose. ive been a big fan of his since purdue. hes cheap and relatively unknown

He is a free agent.

He's an ok player. If we sign him to a reasonable deal, so we can either trade him or use him as a backup when we get someone better, that would be fine. $8m is probably too much. Forget Rose. He's done.

8 mill will be the going price for backup players in the new cap.

A placefiller. The Ryan Fitzpatrick of the nba

No doubt he would be a good combo guard. He is probably somewhere between a mMLE -MLE guy.
Finestrg @ 6/18/2016 6:22 PM
I like him too. I think I prefer Bayless' overall athleticism and game for this type of player but this guy's similar and could be a nice addition for the money. Upgrade over Langston Galloway imo, for what that's worth..

Last I looked, JaJuan Johnson was balling somewhere overseas, speaking of Purdue. I liked him a lot too. He and Moore were a nice tandem in college. Thought JJ was off to a pretty good start in the NBA with the Celtics a few years ago with Garnett taking him in under his wing. I wonder why Ainge gave up on that kid. I thought he was good enough for the NBA.

Is he even an upgrade over Galloway? I'll pass.

great point (no pun intended). yes hes an upgrade over galloway cuz at least hes a better passer.

moore - would be a filler at pg. nothing long term. i wouldnt be expecting a star

I thought this thread would be about Joakim Noah. I would be on board to add him if we can also add Conley or Rondo.
Knixkik @ 6/20/2016 1:28 PM
I view him as more of a SG than a combo guard. As an off-guard, he might be a solid stopgap with his improved outside shooting and solid man to man defend. Definitely a diamond-in-the-rough type possibility.

Liked him Moore when he was with Orlando. In Chicago I lost track of him but he seemed to have an Evan Turner like game where he was a good solid role player and not much more or less than that. Nice to have him as a 3rd or 4th guard for back court versatility.
