Hello Everyone. I was on your site briefly last year..now I am back. Congrats to the Cavs. They showed some toughness and grit. LeBron was amazing. Playing 47 minutes, you could see he was gassed but he pulled through big-time. J.R. and Shumpert were asked to do more than their levels with the
Knicks. It wasn't working here. Properly slotted with the Cavs.. J.R. is a 4th-5th option and Shump is a fringe rotation player as a spare 10-minute wing player. In the end, I think the Warriors were done in by their arrogance and recklessness.

Seriously!

These two fucked off their entire tenure with the Knicks.

Smith routinely played like a horses ass, embarrassed the team with his lack of professionalism on and off the court and quit on the team.

You get a reputation because you're out getting fucked up during the playoffs till all hours of the. night and playing like garbage.

The guy was launching a reality show during the NBA finals. No reason not to blow steam off and have a good time, but to break down and have an emotional moment about growth as a man and then dump a bottle of champagne on a girls head two hours after praising your family and saying how hard it's been to deal with his reputation? Come on.

The man is lucky Lebron was there for him

PHil had to clean house of the loser mentality and those unbelievers to his triangle. They were not suited to be team leaders or maintain being a prime time player in NYC. JR always had the talent, but not the head. Shump's injury prone and inconsistent shot made him a bad fit and he was not going to eat 10mm a year off our cap.

They had love trade value. Kudo's for them in a support role and now have rings. Same for the Moz and Channing!

I can't understand all these kudos for JR and Shump. JR partied thru his final years. Lest we forget the Rhianna ribbing, him being more interested in chasing tail thru out our playoff run. And his own admission of partying too much, instead of keeping his head and body in the game. Or, our coddling of Shumpert for 4 years, hoping that he would develop into some king of useful role player. Hats off to Lebron and Ohio nor finally centering these players, and allowing them to become more mature and focused. We saw that the New York glare, nightlife and pressure was more then they could bear.

Did you just bring up Rhianna in a Bball forum? Lmao. BTW, I hate her.

I agree with this except that I don't think Shumpert has improved at all. Not sure if that is based on a lack of maturity or if he just isn't very good.

Watched the post game speech of Jr Smith. A little tear drops in the ocean.

It's hard to hate him.

I don't think any Knick fan hates JR... its just apathy. Who cares? I haven't followed what's new with Al Harrington, Travis Knight or Lavar Postell either.

You're right with Shumpert. A broken clock is right two times a day.
