JR tied the game for the Cavs to start the third with two massive 3pt shots and a steal. They played their role. It is of course Lebron's show with Kyrie as the right hand man. But Tristan, Love, Shump, JR, Jefferson, etc all played a role.

Went with my girlfriend to see "Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway last year, and let me tell you, "Towns person #7" absolutely knocked his roll out of the park!

+1, lol. I'll prefer to have Courtney Lee and Gerald Green than JR Smith and Iman.

KP looks like he could be that type of player. It will be fun watching him grow hopefully into a franchise player.

kp is what type???

Someone who can inspire his teammates to elevate their games. Does that sound unrealistic to you?

inspire like lebron? a guy who right now has done very little an who is just hope at this point? knick fans ...

KP set NBA rookie and franchise records, left and right, and you want to make it sound like he's just another draft pick? All I said was that maybe Porzingis can also be a great player who inspires others, Why are you being so pissy?

mrcool @ 6/19/2016 11:40 PM
Those Guys did nothing really this playoff. Actually contributed very little the difference on this team is Kyrie he played like he normally has played since in the League. Kevin love also contributed game 7. Knock off the Knicks hate it's about having a full team.

not pissy and we all love kp ... I just dont dream about 1 million to 1 odds.

right now you guys will all be devastated if he is not a first ballot hof'er.

I want him to be a solid long term nba player who makes some all star teams and plays great defense. AND STAYS HEALTHY!

He fears that ISO ball will now replace the 40 3pt shots/game trend that GS had established...just give him some time to compose himself.
WaltLongmire @ 6/19/2016 11:55 PM
And according to Ayesha Curry, everyone of the Cavs is but a role player, who don't even control their own destiny...

Yup...the deity had a plan for this series, and probably caused the NBA to suspend Green.

funny ... i was rooting for cleveland because they were the best 3 point shooting team this postseason. GS did run them off the kune which was smart but hero ball and the greatest player of all time pulled them through.

A million to one odds that KP will be a great player? Lots of great players in this league. Ive seen enough to believe that the odds are much better than that. There are no "you guys". KP has already shown in one season (statistically) that he has the talent to go far in this league. Will he get there? Depends on a lot of things, hence my post hoping (not predicting) that he will become that player. Thats it for me on this semantic merry-go-round.

One last try. The only thing I said that KP might be able to emulate is the ability to get his teammates to step up in big moments, in part by being a great player. Don't necessarily have to be LeBron James to do that. Its not like LeBron gave them superpowers.

Nah they still suck and didn't deserve it. I'm not mad, it's just the truth.
Clean @ 6/20/2016 6:01 AM
Sorry but I and still fine with trading both of them. I am sure a lot of people will look better if they are playing with arguably the 2nd best basketball player ever. The facts remain the same they did not fit with our team. We don't have a super star and 2 all stars. We actually had to rely on them to play consistently. The Cavs have so much talent they can still win when those two disappear for multiple games at a time.
Nalod @ 6/20/2016 7:07 AM
JR was a throw in to whom Lebron was able to rehabilitate to be a good role player.

PHil had to clean house of the loser mentality and those unbelievers to his triangle. They were not suited to be team leaders or maintain being a prime time player in NYC. JR always had the talent, but not the head. Shump's injury prone and inconsistent shot made him a bad fit and he was not going to eat 10mm a year off our cap.

They had love trade value. Kudo's for them in a support role and now have rings. Same for the Moz and Channing!

People should know their role and she should understand that no one cares what she thinks. She's venturing into Diva territory when her only claim to fame is being married to someone else that matters.
