Unless atl is doing a fire sale...this is a weird trade.

I'm trying to figure out why Utah felt the need to trade a pic for George hill... makes no sense

utah trying to make the playoffs next year. they needed a real pg - hill helps them.

Can see why Atlanta wanted the trade, and somewhat see why Indy did, but a little perplexed by Utah. I thought you'd get more for a #12 pick

This is a weak draft though.

Interesting part about this for me - Indiana had been mentioned as a destination for Conley. Maybe they've heard through the grapevine they don't stand a chance at him.

Good move for Indiana - they'll be back in the thick of things next season.

Atlanta seems to be on the verge of blowing it up.

Utah needed a better PG... sort of surprised they didn't just go for Teague over Hill.

George Hill is going to make Utah a playoff team though? Teague fir the #12 pick ok but getting back George hill? Don't they have Exum? If the Knicks did that oh boy...

utah did a trade #12 for George Hill hmmmmm....
djsunyc @ 6/22/2016 2:54 PM
utah almost made the playoffs last year. exum is still young and was hurt alot. need a reliable pg that plays great defense and puts up some really efficient offense.

If they stay healthy next year they make the playoffs. George hill will help them.... but so will Sheldon mack... they could have just held on to that pick

Hayward looking to bolt Utah.

still, what do they think they're getting in HIll at this point, a 30 year old with a bad dye job who was surprisingly good a long time ago.

If the #12 pick turns into a Kwahi Leonard type surprise, Hill will have the honor of having been traded twice for draft picks that yield studs

I think they needed the more versatile play since they are weak at both guard positions. Hill is that and could fit next to either Alec Burke, Trey Burke or Dante Exum.
