Posted this elsewhere... but Jamal seems interested by the DRose trade. Even if it's not him who signs here, I think it is a sign that players around the league view this move positively and see its potential.

Also, I could very well see Jamal coming back here this summer...

Nice.

If Crawford's shot selection is better than the last time he was here, I wouldn't mind bringing him back either. Could use his scoring.

Hes a skilled veteran that would take a pay cut to make a run at a championship that's who he is....

This is Phil chess move coming together. Adding Rose was a calculated low risk high reward move, based on the tweets and social media traffic amongst the NBA players. Stars want to create their own superteam that doesn't include lebron. KD for example knows if he comes to NY now, he will create the same buzz as lebron did in Miami. Ray Allen type players will follow for a bag of peanuts, just to when a chip. Plus when u have other stars, your job is easy.

Miami and the Celtics already proved this theory to work. And everybody knows melo, rose and Phil's window is closing. This season and next season will be the most important time for this franchise in decades. Let's hope Phil's on the job training is paying off.

J.Crawford would be the perfect 6th man and would be great to have just in case of any injury to Rose or whoever our starting SG is cause he can play both guard spots. I've been putting him in just about every post i've ever made about who we should get in free agency for months, but it has to be as a 6th man and not a starter.
