You know what they call good sized SG who shoot well?
First round picks.
The undrafted guys went undrafted for a reason.

That's all that's left now. Not many players shoot it well to begin with. If they do, they go lotto.

Exactly. Last decent sized SG who could shoot who flamed out was Morris Almond. Everyone else has been near max player.

Yeah you have to expect that you will need to put in work developing these guys. Doesn't mean it won't yield a useful player. We need to fill out the roster and not everyone is gonna be great right off the jump.

Seems to be a hard worker and he gets buckets....Big West Player of the year, Big west tournament mvp, all time leading scorer at Fresno st....Obviously the dude can play...Why not take a flyer on him...

I read he wasn't a bad shooter, is a good scorer with good court vision and playmaking skills. Same with Baker, we seem to be going for combo guards that can bring both scoring and passing to either guard spot.
Harris will play summer league for the KnicksChris Haynes of Cleveland.com reports.
Harris is the all-time leading scorer in Fresno State basketball history, capping off a terrific four-year career averaging 20.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game in 2015-16. He did, however, struggle with efficiency, shooting just 40 percent from the field overall and 33 percent from behind the arc in his senior season. He'll play with New York in the summer before the team ultimately has to make the decision to invite him to training camp or not.

If we wanted to give up a restricted #1 and 2.5mm we would have Brogdon Mccaw and Hammons
EnySpree@ 6/24/2016 1:37 PM
This is all on Marvelle Harris.... the Knicks have nothing invested in him. He's on a summer league contact.
Why not cheer the kid on? We need a diamond... this kid could be that. Looks like he's dedicated and plays hard.

give up a number 1 in a good draft, for a bunch of second rounders in a bad draft. What am I missing?
