Sounds like a Game of Thrones character and looks like one too. Like a 7 foot wight.

Last night in the ESPN draft telecast. Fran Frascilla quickly corrected them saying that it was a lazy comparison.

extremely lazy. folks see two international white dudes and start thinking theyre the same. absolutely foolish man.

kp is a gifted gifted shooter

I think they picked him so high, because of hope he becomes next Porzingis :) good luck to Pheonix :
Ira @ 6/24/2016 4:46 PM
I think he has bust potential.

I think Bender will be fine...just needs time. Guys had doubts about KP, too, and we all know it.

Don't know much about him, but he has a good reputation, and seems to be a mature kid. He is not playing in a high pressure market, and should get time to develop the right way.

I do agree that he should have stayed another year and gotten significant playing time. The amount of time he actually played this year was a joke, but clearly he impressed the Suns when they worked him out.

One way of thinking is that if he had another year like this one, he might drop in next year's draft, as most expect it to be better than this 2016.

On the other hand, if Miles Turner had played another year, he would have been at least a top 5 pick this year.

Funny thing is that a lot draft gurus had Bender ranked higher than KP at this time last year. I agree Bender is not KP. It doesn't mean he wont be a star.

Porzingis might have enhanced himself by staying around in Spain that extra year, and seemed to have a good relationship with his teammates and leadership that year, even though the franchise had some major problems.

I thought Bender's team had some issues, too, and they had a bad year, but he was given very little playing time from the records I saw. He is more of a question mark being picked at #4 than KP was, because you had more to go on as far as evaluating Porzingis.

So much of this is a crap shoot, anyway, as we all know if we follow the sport.
