Horny and Phil said they will try to get an adequate back up. Can we get good back up and still upgrade the starting line up?
fishmike @ 6/25/2016 2:14 PM
I think the best place to look is Europe. $3mm in the NBA is a great paycheck by their standards. There are good options out there.. veteran guys. I think P&T actually did an article some time ago.

Sergio Rodriguez is rumored to beinterested in Brooklyn why I dunno.... he would be nice for the Knicks

I like Jerryd Bayless. He can be a spot starter if Rose is out and he is a good shooter.

I liked Bayless more than Rose back then... signing him would be kinda funny to me

Sessions
Augustin
E. Moore
Jennings?(i don't like but is probably better than rose)
callmened @ 6/25/2016 5:00 PM
bayless - but injury prone
DJ augustin - not good
ish smith - not good but works
e. moore - combo guard
shelvin mack - professional
jennings - 2 expensive
CrushAlot @ 6/25/2016 5:28 PM
Chalmers if he is recovered would be a nice pick up.

good one. thats right i forgot about him

knicks1248 @ 6/25/2016 6:38 PM
7. Matthew Dellavedova
Restricted / Point Guard / 6-4 / Team: Cleveland
7.5 ppg, 4.4 apg
Gets under the skin of opponents with a very physical brand of basketball. Has become more of a threat offensively.
TPercy @ 6/25/2016 6:49 PM
DJ Augustine

He's supposed to be out til March 2017. Serious injury.

He might be willing to play for the minimum. He's made his money with a really long career

Not a point guard/orchestrator, which are the skills we would need from Rose's backup.

mreinman @ 6/26/2016 12:49 AM
rose can be our back up while we look for at least a decent PG.

I saw something that said he might be back for training camp (Rotoworld?). I think your time line makes more sense.
