He wound up getting 3yr $42M to be where he wanted to be. Not terrible at all. It's not like his bank account was at $0.01 when they made the offer. He's been in the league 12-14yrs, made some money already...

Speaking of the Sixers...

Sounds like Dario Sarich not coming over this year as planned.

Wow. He is supposed to be a nice all-around player.

Another example of how not to run a franchise, I suppose.

Hinkie stockpiled centers and big men...he had his own idea of a time frame for his team, but clearly he did not understand that Saric had his own priorities. New regime comes in...wants Simmons, and I doubt Saric wants to come now.

Would not mind trading for his rights if he continues to improve overseas, assuming that it feasible.

Wow. GSW gonna have zero depth. I thought some of their guys might come back on the cheap. Yeouch.

Most of them already got the ring, time to get some $$

Nearly all the FAs have signed, only ones of note that are left are:

SF/PF- Anthony Bennett
SF- Quincy Acy
PF/C- David Lee
PF- Jordan Hill
PF- Novak

SG- Alan Anderson
SG- Wayne Ellington
SG- PJ Hairston
SG- Gerald Green
SG- Kevin Martin
SG- Gary Neal
SG- Dion Waiters

PG- Aaorn Brooks
PG- Shane Larkin
PG- Ty Lawson

I'd be interested in David Lee, Anthony Bennett, Novak and also Gary Neal.

Lee would be perfect here off the bench with his skill set. Hill would give is a veteran big behind Noah who performed well at times for LA. Green for his connection with Jeff. Bennett as a shot in the dark with some possible upside.

Drew Gooden on the vet min anyone?

Is Lee healthy? Was his injury in his knees? When was it?

Nah, the idea of Drew Gooden has been better than the actual Drew Gooden for the last couple of years.

Didn't Lawson waive the second year of his contract when he got traded to Houston last year? That cost him a lot of money.
MaTT4281 @ 7/10/2016 10:49 AM
Come on DLee, come back home to NY - let's make this family whole..

He should sue him for malpractice.

I'm surprised Portland matched but they can always trade him later.
