Batum does everything really well and he doesn't need to hog the ball to get his. I'd love him but yeah doesn't sound promising.

This phonecall is gonna last 30 sec. The agent is gonna see who is on the line ask if they are offering the max. Knicks will answer no. End of call. No need to give this guy a free trip and meal. I hate Jimmy D but this is actually a smart decision.

Unless an actual negotiation will occur, what is the point of a meeting with a slide deck?

I do not see us matching the contract offers Charlotte or Dallas will offer.
We could probably do $15M per year at best, after the Noah deal, and that is less than what Charlotte or Dallas or LA could offer.
