That's a really good deal if Noah says yes, fantastic
Best case scenario. Reasonable in today's market and the partial guarantee on the 3rd year makes it a really favorable contract.
If Rose is going to sign, having both Rose and Noah for 3 years would still give the team flexibility to hit the FA market when KP is ready to take over the team.

Yes, I feel Noah is giving Phil a hometown discount and still gives us plenty for craw and Gordon or Lee

Noah was loaded up at SoHo House last night telling people he was signing with the Knicks. He may be stop by a few meetings to grab a meal but according to him it is apparently done.

Thanks! Coworker's roommate asked him. Not the best source but Noah is from here so def believable. I hope he takes a discount yr 1 to help the cause until the fix the tax loopholes when the CBA expires.
Wow...not bad. A little more than the $15M/ which was my top, but the 3rd year partial guarantee might make it less than I expected.
If this is the deal, I expect Noah might be giving us a Rose/Melo discount, and it also indicates that we are going to be resigning Rose- probably for another 2 years if he is healthy.
Anthony's deal ends in 3 years, Noah's might end in 3 years, and I can't believe that Rose won't be getting some additional years if everything works out perfectly.
Phil with Afflalo, Williams, Lopez last year and Rose deal with 1 year left, Noah rumored offer, shows he makes moves and builds with cap in mind.
If 16$M is starting, leaves us at 14-18 for a wing/guard. Puts us in contention for some bigger talents at that spot as well.
Now lets see if Noah takes this deal, have to believe other teams will try to out bid.
What does partial guarantee mean? what would it be contingent on?

I do think other teams will offer him more. It will be interesting.

3 yrs to build a championship team since 1973. Then we start all over and star phuck again.... Meanwhile we keep searching for gems in the draft.
