LOL, we weren't even close to Evan Turner money.
Knicksfan @ 7/1/2016 3:27 PM

I think Turner comes off the bench.
BRIGGS @ 7/1/2016 3:31 PM
Are these guys going to start playing soft-- I mean these are enormous sums of money-- the incentive and drive will certainly drop.

Around $19 mil per for E.Turner....hahaha. That's gonna make it harder to sign C.Lee or E.Gordon cause they'll both be looking at that deal.

All happened at 3:21.

There are things that might be nuts but you don't pay someone 18.5mm to come off the bench

That is by far THE MOST BAT SHIT CRAZY contract of the offseason. Why sign him for that when they could just have signed Crabbe for less???

They're probably planning on matching any Crabbe offer as well. Portland is really close to being a championship contender and with E.Turner and now i'm hearing they're going after D.Howard they'll be a really really good team.

Wow, i actually forgot all about P.Gasol, probably cause i haven't heard his name at all yet this off season until that tweet. So i was right that they're going after a big man and he's probably a better choice and will absolutely be much cheaper than Dwight.

Dellavedova getting 4 years $38M from Milwaukee. He's a pretty good fit there, but wow that's a lot of money.

Maybe some of those guys are right. Maybe the KNicks should wait or the bargains to emerge on the market.

Wonder how much better than can improve upon with Billy Hoyle, Duck Johnson and the Edding "The King" Faroo on reasonable contracts.

Lol! Not even the ball park. Once Chandler found a tax free max instead of theirs, Portland had to do something crazy to meet the CBA floor and there you have it!

It works both ways. That is one option just to wait. The other option is, you jump quickly because with this free agent class being somewhat weak, and there being more money to spent than ever before, some teams who wait might end up overpaying at the end because only a few players remain. Seems like there's more money available than quality players this summer. Either way it's a risk.

That's the natural state of the NBA.

Fans always complain about the money vs quality of player ratio.

This year it's just x 35%... literally.
