That's only 5 million dollars more than Lee's contract. Wonder if that made a difference, or Phil decided on Lee over Gordon as a better fit.

Seemed like they made an offer to each player. Could be as simple as Lee accepted first.

Whatever the case, I think Lee is the better fit. Gordon is too much of a scorer and can't stay on the floor. Lee hits the three and defends. That last part is important.

One of the Home page articles talks about how Noah was recruiting Lee, and we had heard that Rose had ties to Gordon...score one for Noah.

Have to think that Gordon's injury history might have spooked Phil.
